ACDelco GM Genuine Parts 84143543 Alternator

On first blush, this appears to be an excellent price on a genuine GM brand new alternator. It arrived in a mostly plain brown cardboard box, well packaged with a high density foam surrounding it. The only real making on the box, besides the shipping label, was a holographic FM part number sticker. The best I can tell, it's a legit sticker and this is a legit part. Is it's fake, they did a great job faking it... Alternator seems well built, had no markings indicating it had ever been previously installed, and fit our 2014 Silverado perfectly. It's running smoothly, is quiet, and best of all it's producing power and not smoke like the old one! Only time will tell durability, but so far, I'm super happy with the product and the price. A very good value.
