Great fitness watch for the price!
I've had 4 different brands of fitness watches, and when my most recent watch didn't always record my sleep, I decided to look for another brand. My husband started researching fitness watches and told me about the Kore 2 Fitness Tracker. The tracker itself showed up highly rated in online searches, and the quality is noteworthy. I also like the size and design (I love that I can change the watch faces), and the Kore App (which was free) records everything quite nicely. This fitness watch also measures your temperature, which I found very helpful, and a unique feature. Sleep is measured by total hours slept and broken down between light, REM, deep, and time awake over a full 24 hour time period, so if you happen to take a nap, it gets recorded! Battery life is decent, and I have a USB port on my desk, so it charges quickly. There are no fancy colors or bands, the watch is black and it's Unisex style, so if style, color, and band are more important than what the tracker actually monitors you can look for something more fashionable, but those trackers come with higher price tags. The Kore 2 is affordable, but more importantly, it's accurate.

It Keeps Time
I was looking for an entry level type watch for my activity and after using it for 3 months its a bit below an entry level watch. It did keep time OK However, after 3 months it works only sporadically. Customer service sent me a llist of things I need to do to get it to turn on. When I told them it still doesnt work they went silent and I havent heard from them since after several attempts, I just quitThe exercise option on both the watch and app are difficult to navigate and do not always work as needed. It appears to have some nice features, but once again they do not always work. I am also not sure if tehey are accurate numbers. an good example is the sleep function. I only show that I have had excellant nights sleep. When some nights I toss and turn all night with barely any sleep.I know the price was cheap and I was looking to see if a smart watch is for me. I bicycle 50 to 75 miles a week and was looking for some basic functions, heart beat, spo2, body temp, etcUnfortunately, as much as I wanted this to work, I paid $60 Clams and I got what I paid for and I am Disapointed.

Worst customer service experience ever!!!
My device came on time and undamaged. I opened it up and had to charge it for almost 10 hours before it would even register a change in battery level, but it finally charged after 12 total hours. Certain functions never recorded data on the app(temperature, heart rate interval, VO2). Today it asked me to update firmware and froze. There is mo way on device or in app to power off device so I contacted customer service. They said hello then said to wait while they pull up my account. I wasn't logged in and I was on their website, how could they do this? They couldn't. 5+ minutes later they informed me of this. They asked for my email, no acct pulled up(my wife bought it as a gift, but I used my email for app). Then they asked for order number. Note that we are over 30 minutes into this interaction at this point without even identifying me as a user of their product. Once she finds out I bought from Amazon she refers me to THEIR support team. I asked if they even support their devices, is there a way to power it off? She comes back and says I have a defective device, without ANY troubleshooting. I guess so many of these arrive DOA, that there's nothing they can do. As an aside, it's sleek and user friendly on the functions that worked on mine. The terrible customer service is a deal breaker!!!

Firmware Updating Process Issues / Zero Customer Support
I wanted to like this watch. The idea of a smart watch / fitness tracker that is backlit with colorized, bright graphics seemed wholly appealing. Factor in the Amazon release price at $59.99 and you've got a win-win. In theory. Yes, the backlit color graphics are a vast improvement over the poor LED readout of a Fitbit Charge 2 or 3, big time. However, the Kore 2.0 fails miserably in a few areas. 1) It's not waterproof. It's "splash proof" but that's where it ends - you cannot go swimming or showering with this device on. 2) The wristband design is plain stupid. Incredibly difficult to pin on one-handed...every time I strap it on (following a shower or a swim) I curse the design team @ Kore..."THIS IS THE BEST YOU COULD COME UP WITH??" Horrible. 3) Alarms. There are none. This is a huge oversight on behalf of the designers. If I'm going to wear a smart watch 24-7, I need it to provide silent alarm options for various things. You cannot set this watch to, say for example, WAKE YOU UP on any given morning. 4) Firmware Updating. This is the biggest drawback of all. I had no problem PAIRING my device with my iPhone. But, when attempting to UPDATE THE FIRMWARE (a necessary step in order to get the full benefits of the app) the screen literally freezes on a page that doesn't allow me to initiate the update. It boils down to incredibly poor app-design. Which leads me to 5) Customer Support. You cannot speak to a human @ Kore. I've performed Google searches, instruction manual perusing and more and it's not possible. Pour through that 20-page manual and nowhere in it will you find a phone number to talk to a human. What you will get is a QR code "for urgent needs!" (that they chose to write it this way gives you the impression that "Help is at your fingertips!" It's not) Anyhow, the QR code takes you instead directly to a searchable FAQ database page, which, when I enter "firmware update issues" takes me to the Top 5 in that category which instructs you on WHAT TO DO but not HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT. SO...following this writing, I'm packing up my Kore 2.0 , running by Kohl's Amazon Returns Window and shipping this idiotic device back to them. No piece of "intuitive tech" is worth this kind of frustration. Pro Tip: Kore - if you want to win fans / build an audience. let us talk to a human.
