The BEST homemade uncrustable!
Absolutely perfect uncrustable. Learned a few things as I went:1. Doesn’t matter which kind of bread. I bought white wheat and I bought $.59 a loaf at Aldi and they both worked the same!2. Be sure to use peanut butter on both slices of bread and one small glob of jelly in between. The jelly makes the bread too wet/soggy and causes the jelly to bust out. Use the peanut butter as a barrier for best results (this is the same when you bite into the name brand uncrustable too).3. When you press down, be sure not to have any crust within the cutter. It will not seal on the part where you pushed down with the crust. The crust part of the bread isn’t soft and squishy enough to make that right seal you need.4. For best results-press down hard once, flip sandwich over, press again.5. After you’ve pressed down on front and back of sandwich, you can “release the press” by lifting up you palm BUT keep the cutter over the sandwich and rotate and move the cutter down on the bread to create a smooth edge. Using a knife around the edge IS NOT necessary.I bought creamy peanut butter from Walmart, aldi grape jelly, and aldi white bread. I stamped out 200 sandwiches for my cousin and I to split to stash our freezer for the kids!!Also-they have the PERFECT sandwich bags for these at Walmart and are very inexpensive. Look for Great Value brand SQUARE SNACK BAGS!

Just like mom used to…buy!
We spend approximately $1,000,000 on Crustable sandwiches every year on the kids. This does an okay job of replicating with regular bread. It’s a little clunky and you really need to put your back into making a solid press. But if you do it right it actually does work. Hard to clean though.

Homemade Uncrustables are Amazing!
What a handy gadget! For those of you who love Uncrustables or love someone who loves Uncrustables, this is a great addition to your kitchen tools. My youngest son, who is now 14, has been eating Uncrustables since he was a toddler. About six months ago he went to a school mate's house and the child's Mom made them peanut butter and jelly using one of these devices. My son came home and excitedly told me how much better the homemade Uncrustables were. The benefit is that you can use your favorite bread, peanut butter and flavor of jelly and they taste very fresh. I asked the Mom where she got the gadget to make them and she said she bought it at a Pampered Chef party quite a while back. Not knowing a Pampered Chef consultant, I then went to the internet to find one, and sure enough, Amazon carried them. I actually bought two, one for us and one for my step-daughter, who originally discovered Uncrustables and serves them for her family. We both use ours at least three times a week. Plus, the homemade ones cost a fraction of the price of the commercially made Uncrustables. It will take you a few attempts to perfect your technique, but once you get it, you get it. It is also important that you use fresh bread, because stale bread tends to tear and not stay crimped.

Complicated to use
Bought to save money on uncrustables. My son eats PB&J every day for lunch. You can’t use certain types of bread or it will split apart and if your bread isn’t exactly the freshest bread it will split too. The only brand I’ve found that works is fresh store brand thin sliced white bread. When cutting you have to make sure you go straight down and don’t jiggle the handle too much. I don’t use this every day. I still buy uncrustables. I only use it when I run out. If you have more patience than me, I’d recommend. Otherwise it doesn’t save much money with how much bread I’ve wasted trying to find the right one. On a plus side, it is fairly easy to clean though

Decent
This product is cool and it does work. It is just is not always worth using. After having it for about a year I forgot I had it. When you press down just make sure you do it firmly so it seals and then flip it and do the other side

Money saver!!
My 4 kids love love love store-bought round crustless sandwiches, but they're so expensive! I was so thrilled to find this Cut n Seal!! I can make lots of crustless sandwiches for my kids and freeze them just like the store-bought, but better ingredients and less expensive! (Tip: Walmart sells square zip sealing snack bags that are perfect size for small round crustless sandwiches!) My kids just reach in and grab when packing their lunches or when in need of a snack. The Cut n Seal is thick metal, it does not bend, and it's really easy to clean. I have seen plastic versions of this for sale and I'm so glad I spent a few extra dollars on the metal. I think it'll last a long long time!

Decent buy
I gave this a 4 star because it’s not as easy as it reads or looks at first try, it does take practice to get it as in the picture. Overall I am happy with my purchase and it has made my son look forward to his sandwiches so that’s a win.

From Pampered Chef
Grew up with one of these as a child, once I moved out I wanted one to help make my own frozen sandwiches for classes and trips. So worth it!!Be mindful of which bread you used, you need once that has enough moisture to press together for the seal to stick; as well as a small amount to filling for the bread won't burst when sealing it.Found if you use the back of a spoon to flatten out the center for the filling on the bottom half only, helps created one with less chances of the bread to tear on the top.Only thing I did not like is how it was shipped in a bubble parcel that got damaged in transit. Thankfully my Cut n' seal was not broken! Would record the company to ship them in a small cardboard box instead.

Great for perogy making
Works great as a perogy dough cutter. And has a sealing feature that I love.

Fine while it lasted
Bought this a couple of months ago. It has been working great while it lasted. Now the thread that holds the rod in place seems to be opened loose and the rod goes down straight into the bread or dough, not working anymore. Flimsy system!!

It works but only with far less filling than given in the instructions.
Cuts bread fine. Seals bread fine, but only if you don't have much filling, far less than the tablespoonful mentioned in the instructions. Leaves a lot of wasted bread for not much filling, and therefore 23quid51 is poor value. Same with puff pastry but I re-rolled the pastry trimmings and get another parcel out of it.
