FujifilmProtector Filter PRF-49 Black

Ordered this for the Fuji 16-55mm f/2.8 and a B+W MRC Nano. Unfortunately, the later was missing from the box and had to reorder.In either case, this is a brilliant filter. It has the same EBC coating at the Fujifilm Fujinon lenses. I spent the better part a whole day conducting tests and walking around with the filter on the lens. I have not noticed any difference in image quality or any unexpected flares. It comes in a solid plastic box.Edit: I purchased a B+W MRC Nano 007 (clear) filter to compare. Trying to find difference between the B+W and the Fuji is as if you are splitting hairs. The B+W is easier to clean, probably due to its better hydrophobic coating. I think, the Fujifilm has a tad better microcontrast. At the end, I recommend to just buy whichever is the cheapest. I ended up keeping the 77mm Fujifilm and the 72mm B+W.

It's definitely one of the more expensive filters on the market, but this filter fits my 16-80mm lens perfectly and works well with the official lens hood.Very easy to screw on and it does not appear to negatively affect images or video in any way.Comes with a nice case for the filter too.

Fuji filters glass like their lenses! Are top drawer, well worth the extra cost. Primarily bought for protection and designed to accompany the Fuji X Series lenses.

If you are clumsy like me then you need something to protect your lens. This is produced by Fujifilm for their excellent lenses so what could be better.

Great quality filter, but expensive.
