THIS HEATING MANTLE WORKS GREAT FOR THE PRICE IT FUNCTIONS GREAT.

Zero stars. Literally doesn’t work. Tripped the breaker immediately. Upon inspection the relay contacts were all soldered together including the ground. Just a bundle of wires soldered to a single contact. Also, the relay was labeled 220-440 volt. This is literal garbage. Fit/finish, outward appearance was also trash. I want my refund. if I could give negative stars I would

I left it in for over 2 hours and it still did not reach 100C. I will be returning this expeditiously.

It works. But much left to be desired. The product I got was not exactly the one pictured. Definitely not intended for use in the USA. Came with a European plug type, understandable since its manufactured in India, but came with a cheap "travel adapter".The temperature control feels cheap and grindy. No solid detents for selected positions and only cuts on at around the high side of the low spectrum. It almost looks like I got one that was returned. Paint is scratched in multiple areas, couple of dents and a couple of labels are falling off straight out of the box. For the amount paid, I cant say it's terrible but definitely feeling it, I wouldn't order again

Update: The second time I used the item, it short circuited. I guess that was because the voltage was over 255. So instead I put in a normal 127V plug and it works fine. The only caveat is that it takes longer to heat up, but it gets hot enough to distill H2O as specified. First impression: Product should specify input power at 220 volts. When operated at the correct voltage it works fine. Very pleasant super fast delivery. Took several days less from India than a package from Lebanon USA.

It doesn't work in US it's it won't get hot enough because of the vaultage difference not only that I sent it back and was charged $31 restocking fee for the cheap generic white box and a twist tie
