DHP Rockstar Metal Bunk Bed Frame, Sturdy Metal Design, Twin-Over-Full - Black

I spent a lot of time researching bunk beds for my 7 year old's birthday present. She had wanted a bunk bed for a long time, but we also know that she will probably outgrow wanting a bunk bed in a few years when she gets older, so we didn't want to break the bank. This bed fits perfectly in her room. She sleeps on the bottom, which is plenty big for an adult to share with her when reading at night (high enough too) and uses the top bunk as her reading area. The top bunk is very sturdy and I am comfortable sitting up there with her.Putting this together took 2 adults about 2 hours. There are lots of small parts, but it's not difficult and it feels very sturdy in the end. The box is very heavy, but my husband and I were able to get it upstairs. You could also take the large pieces out of the box for easy transport.After a lot of research, I'm thrilled with this bed. It looks good, feels sturdy, and is comfortable for both kids and adults.One note - we used a memory foam mattress on the top bunk to have something a little slimmer, so that it stayed below the railing. Worked great.

So far so good! It took my Fiancé about a Hour to put together. The bed Looks great in my sons room, i must say the top bunk bars are a bit bendy BUT THATS ONLY if you apply bouncing pressure. My son is 6 years old and I made it clear noooo jumping. I will be updating in about 3 months.

Disappointed with this purchase. Bed arrived with frame bent and damaged in multiple places which is disappointing after waiting so long for it to arrive! Box is HUGE and heavy so a big hassle to return. Once assembled, it's definitely not as sturdy feeling as I had hoped. It shakes when you climb it and the ladder hurts my feet when I climb it to change the sheets. Maybe all metal bunk beds at this price point will shake a little but next time I'd pay a little more for one of the sturdier feeling types. It does look nice and was easy enough to assemble with good directions.

We were not excited about putting this together. But it took me and my husband about 2 hours. It wasn't that bad. The girls love it and on the carpenter makes minimal noise. For the price and the amount of time we will be using it. It's a great buy.

I was not in on the assembly of this item. It looks fine in the room. One of my (adult) sons said it was "junk" and "for kids", which I had to laugh; it's exactly for kids, so . . . ? Looking in on my (other, adult) 200+ lb son on the bottom bunk, it didn't make noise when he shifted around in his sleep. I imagine with careful use it will last sufficiently for our needs.

Pretty solid, but better for kids than an adult trying to save space. Bunkie board recommended, it hurt my back otherwise.

The bed is sturdy. I was able to put it together by myself. I do recommend two people. You need someone to assist with holding parts up to screw in. I'm pretty creative so I figured a way out. The directions a pretty straightforward.

Fast delivery. Box however was VERY heavy, had to open outside and take pieces from the box inside. Directions on how to assemble were very easy to follow, tho the tool/ allen wrench was very tiny and sometime a pain to use. By myself it took me almost 3 hours to put together. Son loves the bed and you don't need a bunkie board or a box spring very sturdy with just a good mattress. Amazing price too.

This bed goes together easily and looks goon when assembled. It provides and extra option than just a metal double or a set of standard bunk beds.

I liked this bunk bed. It is very sturdy and easy to essemble. My kids love it. I saw other bunk beds for the same price or more but they were made more cheaply. The package was shipped quickly. The grill on the top creates a great barrier. Kids can’t hang their arms or legs out.

Loved the idea of the bunk bed. Was a bit difficult to assemble. We had 3 people putting it together, but I didn’t exactly follow the instructions. After a week or so, it began to squeak so much that it woke everyone up. Is there a solution to this? Not happy. We got rid of it.
