works great on chicken etc. Be careful.it is so sharp It just slipped when cleaning that it sliced my finger. I am a lot more careful now, I never had a knife so sharp. Good product.

These are build to last. Easy to clean - I wash top shelf in dishwasher in sterilizing mode after cutting raw chicken without damage.

We use ours for when we process our chickens. Cuts thru the small bones pretty easily. Fits great in your hand and doesn’t slip. When food prepping its fast and easy to cut up chicken, steak, whatever. Clean up is easy too. As we grow bigger in our processing I’d probably order another pair. Strongly recommend these. Works as it should.

I've been buying Foster farms chicken thighs from Costco in order to make my crispy skin chicken. The problem that I was having is a large knuckle bone or joint bone protruding out of the bottom of each thigh thus they will not lay flat in the pan. Solution, cut the knuckle off the bone. To do this I needed the proper tool and these scissors turned out to be an excellent tool and solved my problem. The scissors are well made look great and I would highly recommend them .

These get used all the time. Spatchcock chickens with about the effort of cutting cardboard with sharp office scissors. Sharp as all get out, watch your fingers when washing them.

I tried using to to process some quails and the first thing you do is quickly decapitate them. These scissors were horrific for this purpose as the tolerance between blades is too loose and separates slightly allowing soft tissue to just get smushed between the blades instead of sheared apart making the sharpness of the blades moot (also the blades did not come that sharp). It is probably good on applications with large bone structures like spatchcocking but if you need to cut just soft tissue and connective tissue in addition to bones there is probably a better pair out there.I like the feel in my hand but, in this instance, quail suffering needlessly soured my experience with these scissors tremendously.
