Smoking/Smoker Wood Dust for Cold Smokers -1.5 Litre. Selection Pack of Six Great Flavours Apple, Oak, Cherry, Whiskey Barrel, Alder & Beech.

The wood dust worked perfectly with my pro Q cold smoker. I used a kitchen blow torch to light mine. Just remember to do it from the bottom and not the top or it won't work. I found that I only needed to. fill half the smoker to have enough burn for 6 hours. More than enough to cold smoke any fish without it going too smoky.

Two smokes so far - one Beech/Oak and one Beech/Apple ( I find that a thin bottom layer of Beech with the main flavour on top helps the burn ) in a Proq Frontier and Generator. Was a little concerned as the Apple was quite coarse compared to the others but both lit fine from a tea light and burned consistently to the end.

My cold smoke generator holds about 130 g of dust which is enough in my set up to smoke for just over 12 hours. So I could do three 12 hour smokes from one packet. The photo was taken 8 hours after lighting. Great stuff, Cheers Adam

I’ve recently started cold smoking food items like bacon, salmon and my own caught trout.I struggled at first to find a reliable smoking dust to use and then came across this company. I use the ProQ smoke generator and every flavour of dust I’ve had from this company has performed really well. I particularly like the whiskey as it burns slow and even, coating the food in a glorious light colour infused with just the right amount of smokey flavour. The six bag mix offer is well worth taking.Highly recommended**UPDATE*I have just received another batch but unfortunately the quality has slipped somewhat. When I opened the packets the dust was damp and I have had to devote a bit of time to drying it out so its come down to 3 stars

I spoke a lot of bacon, fish and other stuff so nice to get the “selection box” approach enabling me to try out different woods.Delivered very quickly but some of the packs were only half full. NB sold by volume not weight which I am not keen on. Called the seller who immediately said she would send replacements which arrived very quickly. Happy with the wood, the service and how they dealt with the problem
