8-Inch Professional Backdraft Damper Shutter Connector Duct

This worked good for me . Durable metal not cheap the fit was perfect for 6” duct. Proper airflow through it and shut as it should.

I’m using this as an outside air to inside when bathroom fans are being used. Provides proper flow and closes when demand for outside air is not needed. I added a screened vent in the attic to keep unwanted visitors out if they’re up there and keep the damper clean.

Works as intended with solid backdraft closure. Care should be taken when trying to crimp the metal for inserting into a 4 inch duct as to not getting the damper out of round or striking the butterfly flap inside.

I real need this piece for the job I was doing. Customer was very happy.

Does not fit well into standard 6 inch ducting. Had to really manipulate the duct ends. The real issue is the spring tension for the shutters. Too stiff. You need significant air velocity and pressure for them to open enough. These will really reduce the airflow if you don't alter the spring and bend them to be less restrictive.

Amazing! I had an issue with my neighbor’s hing and turmeric cooking smell. It kept coming down to my apartment through the kitchen exhaust and it made all my clothes so smelly. Problem solved! I don’t smell any thing coming back to my apartment.

Works like it should and received just in time.
