I ordered this car for my 12-year-old son. He was surprised at how fast it could go. His friends had fun trying it out! I would recommend this product for anyone looking for an RC car on a budget and is durable. This is my first time purchasing an RC car and I am so happy with it! I put together the little video with some of the clips of driving the car. Be careful, this truck is built with a ton of torque, which makes the acceleration and turns so much crispy. It brings lot of fun to play. The truck build is quite sturdy, with long travel suspensions, along with the motor power makes it so much capable to drive on any surfaces. The power and speed allow it to go through grass with ease. In fact there's nothing it can't go over. Even when against a wall, it will try to climb up it. The four-wheel drive makes a huge difference!I would recommend buying this 5/5 stars!PROS:Quick for a kid to use.Too fast for indoors.Reasonable price and value.Body removes with 4 cotter pins.Battery life is around 15 - 20 minutes.Super light and sturdy controller for kids.Adjustable trims on remote.Wheel steering on remote.Trigger forward/reverse.Good looking.CONS:Instruction can be little better for how to replace battery. Other than that I don’t find any issue.

Great value for the money! I like that the entire drivetrain is made of metal and there are legitimate front and rear differentials. Also the remote seems to be of good quality and the car in general is extremely fast when you put it in the highest remote sensitivity. Absolutely no problem at all going over leaves and getting out of very tall grass.

Great off-road r/c! No problems conquering any terrain thrown its way. The 1:10 scale, AWD, Motor and low center of gravity give this beast all it needs for those hairpin turns on pavement, those gravel tossing inclines, lawn tearin’, stump jumping, root crawling maneuvers you see in those 80’s Tyco R/C commercials, but way better! The two batteries provided are a huge plus for extended play. The throttle and steering can be adjusted accordingly on the trigger grip controller so any age or inexperienced user can learn the tricks of the trade at there own speed. Check out the video. That’s my 7y/o rippin’ it up! If you choose this R/C you won’t regret it.

I really like this car for my son. Decent speed for 6-10 year old - maybe 20mph? Faster than that and the steering and turning become hard which leads to more crashes. Better remote than some. You can control the speed, turn angle, and alignment as well as reverse steering and turning switches. Similar cars dont include the turn angle adjustment. Battery lasts a decent amount of time - 15 to 20 min. It has the lights included that let you know when the remote is connected. Can control up to like 100-150ft on the street. It is plastic and will eventually have broken parts - a little difficult to source here on Amazon. They do make upgraded aluminum parts and are coming out with more, but you have to buy them from third party sites usually from China where the shipping and delivery times make it cost and time prohibitive. I hope theyll be offered on Amazon soon.The shocks could be better and use some oil. I ended up replacing them with some oil filled ones I found here on Amazon. Just make sure to double check the length.I liked it so much that I purchased a second for my daughter in a different color so that I could source parts from the same place when they eventually crash and brake them (which they will). The second one I bought was from a different vendor and it was missing the lights that let you know its connected - so stick with this Kolegand brand for the best value.

My son has been after a quality RC for years. He was trying to get me to buy a Traax (or whatever) one for him, but it’s so expensive, I couldn’t. Instead I found this one. The steel parts, oil shocks, and dual batteries made me try this one. So far he’s had it outside 3-4 times in about 24 hours. The battery life isn’t great & the batteries need 2-1/2 hours to charge. However, he’s running it on gravel, grass, and through thick leaves, so that’s probably negatively affecting battery life. My Poodle has been chasing it and it’s fast & maneuverable enough to keep out of his grasp for the most part, that’s definitely a plus. So far my son hasn’t exposed it to water (that how all his previous RCs have died), but the listing says it’s waterproof…he’s thrilled and I am as well. He even left his Xbox several times to take this out to play. I bought the Asurion 3-year warranty as well, so hopefully this will last that long…if not we should have replacements for that long. BTW he’s 13, almost 14.
