This light is small in size, but big in performance. I was a little alarmed at how small and light the box was when it arrived - to the point where I was worried that it was either the wrong product, or that the book light would be toy-like. I needn't have worried. This light is much smaller and much lighter in weight than my previous rechargeable LED book light - but it performs even better and has a few more useful features. It is very well designed and solidly constructed. The light is bright and dispersion is good; it easily lights a standard paperback or hardback book, pages open.The three colors of light are about as expected - except that the amber color setting is very, very warm. Think campfire-embers type warm. The three colors are easily selected by a toggle on the top of the light head. I read by the mid-range light. The amber light is useful if we want to use this book light as a kind of bed-side night light if someone is climbing into bed later.The three light levels are also as-expected, and range from fairly dim to quite strong. They're fine - and easily selected by another button on the top of the light head. It would be nice to have a simple on/off switch instead of having to toggle through the light levels (which are: dim, mid, bright, and 'off'), but that's not a big complaint. The other benefits and features of this light more than offset this shortcoming.This Glocusent book light runs circles around my older light. It just does the job better and is easier to live with ... and handsomer to look at, too. There might be better book lights out there, but I haven't see one that beats this. We'll be ordering another.

Very light, very bright. I especially love the different color temperature selections as well as the ability to adjust light levels.

This is a pretty good light. Surprisingly multi-purpose: I quickly found it is great for crafting!Pros: I really like the different tones (I use white as an aid for embroidery, yellow for reading at bedtime). I love that it's rechargeable, and the brightness levels are a nice touch. It holds a charge for a long time. Because I have used it for multiple several-hour embroidery sessions on the brightest setting before a charge was needed, I know it lasts a long time.Cons: I am very light-sensitive and in a dark room, even the lowest level on the yellow setting is pretty bright, I wish it got even dimmer. The little pad on the clip likes to flip over to the wrong side, and the hinge ends up on your book if you're not paying attention. The shape of the tip sometimes makes it hard not to have it shining a bit in your eyes, not sure why they wrapped the light bit around like that.All in all, well worth the price and better than others I've had!

I love this book light! It comes in handy anytime it’s dark and I want to read. There are 3 or 4 light choices to choose from and you can choose how bright or low you want it to go. It’s so convenient. The quality is great. I can charge it for about 30 mins and it’s good to go for a long while. I definitely recommend for any book reader.

I didn't realize how much I needed a reading light until I ordered this one. It's so compact, yet emits great light and offers different settings. Very happy.

I’m very happy with this light. I ordered it because I wanted a light with an amber setting. If you’re one of those people that doesn’t like “the big light” on the amber setting of this light is great. It is also very lightweight which I appreciate.

I bought this since I wanted to read before going to bed, but didn't want to stay awake because of my overhead lighting being so bright. Plus you never know when you want to read with minimal lighting.For 15$, this thing sure packs a punch. A punch made out of light. Haven't had it long enough to determine battery life but it seems easy enough to recharge since it takes a standard usb-c. But the lowest setting will get you longevity I have to imagine, and is more than enough. Plus I think the other 2 modes are actually way too bright.See, I was messing around with this thing, and flipped it around so the light was facing my ceiling. On the highest setting, it nearly lit up my entire bed room. It's so bright! So you're buying a reading light, and a flashlight. Not enough for the woods at night, but if you need to use the bathroom during a power outage, it'll be perfect since the light really went all over the room. Crazy.But there are a few "eh's" with this thing. For starters, it's kinda clunky. It works for a mass market paperback that I'm reading right now thats like 1000+ pages long, but I'd have to think for smaller books, or magazines, it might cause it to flop. Haven't tried it with one yet, but I think the physics work.Additionally, there was the interesting choice of making the tip of this light bevelled so you can see the lamp part while reading. I plan to get a piece of tape to cover it eventually, and it's not that bright tbh, but it's still a little distracting.But other than that, it's a great light. I really like the sodium light option the most (the warm tone). It's extremly tinted, I know some might not like that but I do, it's probably the easiest lighting to read in. Haven't used the other options, they seem better suited for reading in a dark room or airplane.Apparently I have a warranty, and they also gave a free mini bookmark which was cute. Also, for some reason, and I've never had this happen before, but the company sent me an email after it arrived outlining how to use it. Is this normal? Not an issue, but thought it was funny nonetheless.
