The raised paw print design does get in the way of cleaning it. It is durable though. I have had it for 2 years and it still looks good.

I think this is worth the money. Keeps water off of the floor or carpet & is large enough for two kitties to eat at the same time.

Love this mat. Got one for my dog more than 4 years ago and it still looks like new. Easy to clean, rinse under sink or if dry food I add squirt of dish detergent swipe with a sponge, rinse & hang on faucet or dry with paper towel. Highly recommend this mat. Just purchased one for son's cats and he likes it a lot.

I have a kitty who likes to lift his rear when he pees in the litter box. Buying a litter box with a high back solved about 95% of the problem. But he was still able to get his rear high enough sometimes that urine would get under the lid of the box and eventually drip onto the hardwood floor. I solved the problem by putting one of these mats horizontally underneath the back end of the litter box. Works exactly as I wanted. Now if he gets some urine under the lid of the box, it drips onto the mat and is easy to clean up. The mat lays nice and flat, too. I see some reviewers are saying the mats don't lay flat because they arrive rolled-up. To flatten them, unroll them and lay them upside down on a flat surface (even the top of a washing machine will work, as long as it's flat). By "upside down", I mean the smooth side is up and the patterned/textured side is down. Leave them there for a few days. This allows them to relax completely and flatten. It also gets rid of that very faint odor they have when they arrive. I have now bought 3 of these, and this has worked to flatten each of the mats.

5 years later and this mat is still used daily for my messier eater and when water spills. Still easy to clean, no build-up or mold.

We recently purchased dog bowls that were too large for the food mat that we have had for about 8 years and loved so the expectations for a new mat were pretty high. This mat is good and works well. It is silicone so it "sticks" to the floor nicely and we do not have to worry about it moving around. On the flip side, the material attracts dog hair so we have to clean it VERY often (our dog is a golden retriever). The other negative is that the lip on the side if not very big. My dog makes a HUGE mess when she drinks water so I need something that will contain her mess. This does an okay job; however, would work a lot better if there higher sides to contain more of the water spilled by my dog. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

This is super cute. It makes the dog feeding area look nicer. I took off one star only because mine Isn’t flat on the left side. I have had to lay a heavy big water bowl on it to try to flatten it smooth, and it still isn’t. But I would buy it again. It’s well made besides that, waterproof and I have vinyl planking floors. So far so good.

Rolls up at the sides. Would be much better if it was not shipped rolled into a cigar.
