Feel the Bern: A Bernie Sanders Mystery (The Bernie Sanders Mysteries) Paperback – 6 Dec. 2022

Our son, who grew up in Vermont, thought this book was great. He thought it captured the feeling of Vermont well and in addition to being a good mystery also very funny.

I haven't read this yet. I bought it to go with the Obama Biden mysteries this author wrote that nobody but me seems to have heard of. Amusing if you aren't a hater. The second included lots with Jill Biden. I have never heard anyone from these people refer to these books but I wish they would; surely they had to give permission?Still when I saw this title alone, it cracked me up, and I had to have it

Quite ridiculous in a fun way, the storyline kept my attention and was hard to put down. I was invested in the mystery. Loved the little surprise near the end and the hint of a potential sequel. I am delighted with this author's series. After the intensity and upset of politics in recent years, they are a fun way to purge. I even have the "orange" guy's version on my to-read list because the author is so good at capturing the sound and essence of Obama, Biden, and Sanders that I'm curious where he'll go with T*.

I read two previous books by Andrew Shaffer in the Obama-Biden mystery series. (Joe kind of torpedoed the series by becoming president. Maybe it can be resurrected later.) I was delighted to discover this new series. Shaffer tells a good story sprinkled with caricatures of main characters we know and love.

It was fun to see what and where Bernie would be doing next. Sometimes I laughed out loud. Totally enjoyed the book.
