Fantastic and delicious

Its not what I expected but all the same it was a delight.
Its bottle is a beautiful square decanter and the taste is a lovely port like flavour with the mead essence hidden but still there. I was originally expecting a honey flavour with a accompanying taste of berries the reality is the opposite but all the same it's delicious and I would buy it again though I might try other types first.

Reminds me of vermouth or something like that.
I love mead, proper mead with the basic ingredients so i admit I’ve strayed from the path somewhat but this is not pleasant at all. It’s quite rough on the palette with no honey notes at all and in all honesty I think I’m going to have to drink it with a mixer. In comparison i also just finished a bottle of Atlantic dry mead which was considerably cheaper and much nicer. Loved the concept concept but this is not for me and certainly not anything like mead.

The bottle is beautiful and made a great Christmas gift. My brother said the flavour was fantastic. I will be buying again
