Caulk gun with a thrust ratio a must for DIYers for a small bead.
12:1 thrust ratio helped lay a controlled small bead which minimized the mess when too much is applied. This was used to caulk the panels in shaker cabinet doors. Past experience caulking was mainly experience wiping of the mess from too much caulk. This gun helped control the flow that I could go at my own DIYer pace.
