This playpen has a great design. The hollow frame is more sturdy than some systems. It has a GREAT door design that you can operate with one hand, and the door gently swings closed automatically. It is much preferred to my other playpen system. It was easy to set up by one person. You can use any number of panels you wish, since each panel is individual. They connect by the rod you thread through the channels on the side of each panel frame. I am using this playpen for my dachshund puppy as an outside potty yard that I set up under the carport roof, by adding a full ground cover of fake grass (not included). It works great for that purpose and protects my yet-to-be-fully-vaccinated puppy from dirt and other animal leavings. However, I think this would also work well indoors. If I had purchased this first I would be using this design indoors instead of the other playpen system I have. There are a couple of minor issues, but they do not affect the usage. The hollow frame arrived with one small dent in the frame of the doorway. It's cosmetic, not a problem. Also, the rods have a ball on top that is helpful for your palm if you are pushing the rods down slightly to seat into the ground outdoors. However, those balls are hollow and cannot be hammered (even with a mallet) or they crumple. But, it is held upright by the shape you set it up in, and certainly so indoors where you wouldn't be seating the rods into the ground, so that is not an issue either. I think this would be great for a small to medium dog. I am very happy with this purchase!

We bought this set just after we brought our cavapoo puppy home for the first time. We have used one set to help keep our pup safe (and our stuff safe from puppy teeth and pee) in two places in our home: at the door of our primary bedroom and in a playspace we set off for him in another part of our home. The height is perfect for a dog that weighs 20 pounds or less. It is sturdy, easy to move, easy to assemble and extremely versatile. The gate works extremely well - a big selling point. No way your dog will be able to slip the latch.

We had first bought a pet fence from Camping World. This was a good fence however it was heavy and the panels were tethered together making this heavy and also a little harder to put together. Also the rods/pins to put the fence together were easy to bend. We had a close friend that purchased this fence and really like the way it was built. We had also seen this one at other RV parks. So we made the change. First out of the box all the panels are separate and also a lot lighter. This made building our pin a lot easier as one person could easily do this. The rods/pins to join the fence together were larger diameter and sturdy enough to use a rubber mallet to bring the rod into the ground. The doors to the fence were 10x better than the one from Camping World. We also decided get the 24" panels to go under the slides. These also connect to the larger panels with ease.

I gave this 4 stars because I do like the fence overall. It looks a lot nicer than wire fencing from the farm and yard store to give my dog a space to run off lease. It was easy to put together and it's easy to move to mow the lawn where it sits. However, it is not sturdy at all. If the poles that it came with were designed just a few inches longer so they could stake into the ground deeper this would have been perfect. They only stake into the ground maybe a 1/2" to and 1" so they don't really hold the fencing in place well. I bought some garden stakes to secure it better which helped. So this was almost perfect, but it does make due with some modifications. Also, this size (the biggest one pictured) does have 2 gates. I noticed a question on this same product and it said only 1 gate, but it is exactly how the product is shown in the picture.

I purchased this gate so my medium and small small dogs can go outside in the front yard while I clean my yard. The gate was easy to assemble although I had my son assist me on setting it up. The gate seems to be sturdy, my dogs haven't tried to jump on it so I can't really give a direct review on that. I don't advise you to use a hammer to drive the stake in the ground unless the ground is soft and moist because my son tried that when the ground was hard and the metal which is not 100% metal almost cracked. I did not place this gate on the grass like most people would, instead I bought some clamps to install it on the wall to hold it securely in place. So far this gate is great. I hope this information helps any customer looking for a nice enclosure for their pets.

We bought a double set of these for our Labrador to have a littler of pups and to contain the pups indoors during winter. It worked great! It's sturdy enough if your dog (or pups) are not too big or energetic. Our lab is not hyper, she is very calm and doesn't jump on stuff so this held up fine *for her*. This also held up well for the pups, up until about the 6-8 week point when they start getting active and experimental. Then it started to become a bit too small and flimsy for them, but no big deal because that's also when they're ready to be sold and re-homed. I would not recommend this for hyper or larger dogs- like huskies or pit bulls, etc. Maybe not even a hyper lap dog. Calm medium/large sized dogs, calm lap dogs, and younger pups- yes!

Used this product to perimeter my patio to keep the pets off. Easy to install, just push the rods in the ground and you have a very strudy fence, easy to move and manuver at anytime. The gate is nice with a functional latch. Looks nice too
