First the part worked as designed, but its not really OEM. Second the hole the bolt is supposed to screw into on the solenoid assembly, did not have any threads in it. Not a big issue, but a real pain to install a different bolt and nut assembly into the area underneath the riding mower seat. Hence the ratings. In all fairness the part did work and I did used it.

Do not buy. I bought one last year. Cranked my mower 5 times.it went bad.bought another one. I only Cranked the mower 3 times and that's all it would do.didnt even last a full day
