Why the clock keeps blinking? Is there anything wrong with dimming light?

This is one of the best Digital Clocks I have come across. The problem you are having is more then likely the result of not installing a CR2032 backup battery. Make sure to press the "Time-Set" button after setting the time to exit the "Time-set" mode.

In what direction do you replace the battery?

The supplied, round CR2032 battery goes into the slot with the letters facing out. It is important to know that the battery is only to hold the time during a power outage. The clock must be plugged in to power the display.

Will this clock sit on a shelf?

This clock does not have feet or a ledge to sit on. it is really meant to be hung on a wall.
