This was an easy install. The handle works well and is built well. The only negative is the piece that goes on the door frame - that catches the latch - is made of plastic and feels a bit cheap. I ended up using my old metal piece on the door frame as it was sturdier and it looked better. The handle itself is made well and it looks good.

Reasonable price for the only storm door handle I could find for thicker than one and a quarter inches.

I ordered two of these. One had a screw missing and one had a pin missing. Husband had to make a trip to the hardware store before he was able to complete the installation.

Looks so amazing where my old rusted and painted a million time old hardware used to be! I can’t believe I didn’t change it sooner. Fairly easy install with pre-existing holes. The middle prong has to be cut to width (easy with a pair of pliers and some force) and can be tricky to align and stay in place in the indoor handle (a third hand would be helpful!). What they don’t mention is that they provide 3 different sizes of machine screws (for various door widths). After trying and failing a number of times with the longest before figuring it out, I eventually came to a compromise with the mediums - the small were way too small, longs way too long, mediums needed to be shimmed (they are 1/8 too long so they don’t hold tightly. A bit disappointed that some of the black paint was chipped off the button and the interior handle (they are packed with the pieces so rattling around in the box caused damage). Other than that - my door has never looked better!!

I replaced a fairly new handle and catch that cost more, but kept sticking open due to the plastic push rod. This metal push rod works much better and both the inner grab handle and outer push button feel solid. This handle should lay a long time. The price is excellent!
