Disguise Voltron Sword

Looks amazing

The Voltron Disguise Sword is a reasonably sturdy hard plastic, but hollow. A little thicker than the LotR toy/Halloween Sting and Strider swords of early 2K. I was hoping the blue plastic would be translucent like the Playmates Roleplay swords, but as you can see in my pictures, it's not, it's a matte light blue/turquoise. The silver is only vaguely metallic, and the red, yellow, and black are a low~medium gloss. The handle is going to be SMALL for any adults considering buying it. (I have small hands.) It'll be GREAT for kids wanting to play at being Voltron or dress up as the combined robot for Halloween.The advertised measurement of 27" overall is exactly right, and about the length of a standard real short sword. It's 3 1/2" wide at the hilt and 2 6/8" wide along the blade. The "sharp edge" of the blade is 1/4" wide and flat so not at all sharp.Overall, it's pretty much exactly what I expected it would be, and it should be a great kids toy and hold up under play time.

I would expect the paint on a kids toy to be a little more durable. Also after having it for 2 days something at the front edge of the sword broke and fell into the sword. It seems like a tiny piece of plastic cracked off and fell into the sword so now it makes it sound a little piece falling up and down inside this word.

This is beyond cheaply made. The attached photos were taken within 30 seconds of removing it from the packaging. There is overspray in one area and paint that has peeled off in other areas. Spend your money elsewhere.
