It’s small but lit up the entire room with soft light(6 watts bulb), just enough light to indicate someone is home! It takes little space on the coffee table, on kitchen counter top……

This is a cute small lamp. It is electric so it does not need batteries or usb ports. This one is for small spaces and has a switch on the cord. Not touch control. This one has a blue lamp shade. it is nice for small corners like on a nightstand but very light weight. since it is light weight, it is certainly not good for high traffic areas with many people, kids, pets, etc unless you can find a way to keep it from moving around. In some cases you may have to glue it down. I am ok because I slip the cord behind the night stand and do not have a lot of other people in the house. I am using it on a nightstand. when you first receive it, the lamp shade is upside down on top of the unit and the bulbs come separately, and the kind are mentioned in the ad. with a little thinking you can figure out that the lamp shade is upside down to fit in the box, untangle it and put it on straight, plug it in, and if you have already ordered the bulbs, there you go.

Let me preface this by saying I typically never leave negative reviews on items. I try to leave positive and honest feedback with most purchases, and move on from the purchases that have not worked out. However, If i did not say something about this specific item, and someone got hurt, I would never forgive myself. So make of this what you will..We purchased this lamp for my 6 year old daughter's room, to sit on her dresser or night stand for some soft lighting. We used the appropriate wattage bulb. A few days after using it, we noticed a burning smell that was coming from my daughters room. My husband went in there to find that the burning smell was coming from this lamp. The fabric fibers from the lamp shade were burning off and melting to the light bulb. We immediately unplugged and removed the lamp. God only knows what this could have turned in to had we been asleep, or not home, etc.I would not recommend buying this as it is a safety hazard. It is very cheap (especially the lampshade...it feels like the quality of a paper plate) and it is poorly made. This lamp literally started to melt with heat.

The lamp is ok. What seems cheap is the lamp shade. It looks like paper and I had to press with my fingers the upper part of the lamp shade, it was separating from the wire. The bulb is a candelabra base, don't use the pointy ones it will peek through the shade . Just use a globle candelabra base bulb and it's perfect, mine is a florescent bulb. Also to screw the socket nut was a bit challenging because the space is small. Otherwise than that it's cute and brightens a dark corner of any room.

I didn't dislike anything, it was just very small. I should have read the dimensions of it properly, before purchasing. it was too small for my room, I returned it, with no problem, but it would be very good for a babies room or small nursery.

This arrived in a slightly damaged carboard box that fit snuggly over the product box. Since this lamp was partnered with a different article in my order, I think they could have put both items in the larger box with some are pillows, instead of the plastic mailer it came in, which had absolutely no cushioning.The lamp itself is great. Their are some folks on here who mentioned that the bulb sticks out over the shade; there is more than one size of type B bulb and clearly they are attempting to use a larger one. The Type B bulb you will want for this lamp is the same size as the kind you would have in the candlestick light you often see in windows during the holidays, which is approximately 2" high.I bought this accent lamp to give my kitchen a warm, cozy glow at night. The incandescent bulb spreads a beautiful, dim light (I am using a 40w bulb; the max is 60w), which is perfect. The shade is better quality than I expected, because it is a little bit of a thicker material the light really seems to glow.I plan to purchase another lamp for my entryway.

The picture without the lamp is deceptive. This corner in the kitchen is actually quite dark in the mornings when getting coffee. This little lamp is perfect. I will be ordering more.
