See's Candies 12 oz Awesome Nut & Chew Bars (8 Individually Wrapped Bars)

Love Sees candies and these are SO good!!They are shipped with an ice pack but unfortunately, Florida is very very hot and humid. When I received them they were melted, but revived in the fridge. So very very good.I am going to wait until it's less hot to order more.

I bought these See’s candy bars for my husband as a Christmas gift. He says that they were the best candy bars he’s eaten in a long time, So I bought them again for his birthday.. I’m sure he will be thrilled.

I love See's Candy. I keep favorites in my freezer. These nougat with almonds is my most favorite of the entire candy bar world. They are reasonably priced and delicious. I bought my first candy bar at the hospital gift shop a few years ago. I have been hooked since. Depending on the time of year, I find they ship quickly. In the summer when it is hot it seems to take longer and a bit more expensive because they have to ship with ice packs. I recommend trying them.

I don’t eat Chocolate candy much anymore because what’s on offer is basically sugar candy, minimum chocolate. If I want something chocolate, I make fudge, etc. where I can add less sugar and actually taste the chocolate.However, I do enjoy See’s Awesome Nut and Chew bars. I’m guessing the deliciousness comes from a combination of chocolate shell and inside chewy nougat and crunchy nuts. Yummy!

Maybe they weren't as nutty as I remember because these are a larger size? I don't know...not worth the money to me.

I like to freeze a Snickers and eat in slivers, the taste growing as it melts in your mouth. I tried one of these See's treats like that right away as it arrived chilled with (reuable) ice packs. It was good cold but tasted even better when softened to room temperature. (As intended, I'm sure.) I did not care as much for their Butterscotch Little Pops I bought with it -- too bland -- but I'd definitely reorder the Nut and Chew Bars along with trying something else from See's to justify the high shipping cost. (It did come nicely and safely packed with snug padding and multiple ice packs.) Each bar is individually wrapped so it's convenient to carry along but not on dog days of summer.
