Hydroponic Food Production: A Definitive Guidebook for the Advanced Home Gardener and the Commercial Hydroponic Grower

The most detailed book on hydroponics you will ever need. It's for the serious learner and is incredibly detailed. There are tables, charts, figures, drawings and pics galore. It comes from a doctorate degree in horticulture and 47 years of experience from all over the world in all different climates and terrain. This book isn't one to focus on just the author's favorite method...NO! This covers every method you can think of in a non-biased way. That's one thing I like about Resh's books. I 'want' him to tell me the best method for ____ and he gives so many options not saying which is the best because the best for me in Mid Michigan USA is not the best for someone living in the tropics or someone living in Alaska. Or someone who has zero resources/electricity/low water availability vs the opposite.KINDLE = recommend NO. The kindle format is more like PDF version/format which means the pages don't resize for easy reading. You can zoom in but then for each line you have to slide the page left and right. Take a textbook size page and put it on your little screen which makes the font size about 4 - and my "little" screen is a Samsung S23 Ultra - one of the biggest phone screens on the market. You may do better on a actual kindle device but the print is SMALL.

About 2 dozen pages appear to have little to no glue in the binding. I have CRC reference books I bought in the 70’s that followed me through my career. This book didn’t make it 10 hours of reading.Dr. Resh has created a new standard in hydroponics. The update (8th edition, 2022) is superb.

Le livre est pas mal complet. J'aurais aimé un résumé à la fin avec une liste de plant avec leur besoin en engrais et autre. Il parle de beaucoup de chose, pas mal dans le détail, mais manque un peu de détail pour le hobby. Auccun regret de l'achat
