This hydrating body oil is amazingly light and clean feeling. Most oils feel too heavy, but this one is so light I can put it on before sleep and not feel like I need to put a sock over my head 😂

The Mother Dirt Hydrating Body Oil comes in a small pump bottle that's ready to use. It sprays out a small amount of the oil mixture that instantly hydrates skin. I would caution spraying it directly on skin as it is oily and can get on other surfaces. I prefer to spray in my hand first and then spread it on.The lemongrass/citronella scent is strong and invigorating. I like it a lot as it is indicative of something natural. I used the Mother Dirt on my legs and it absorbed quickly. My wife tried it and it gave her legs a nice, radiant sheen. But it is oily and the strong scent lingers - which I like. You don't need much to saturate your skin with its healthy properties. This would be a good oil to use after being out in the sun. The ingredient list is fairly short which is a positive sign. It is sulfate free, paraben free, silicone free, alcohol free but does contain ingredients that can cause skin irritations specifically the last three (Citral, Geraniol, Limonene) which are fragrance. Citral is a naturally occurring oil deceived from plants with a lemon scent. Geraniol is extracted from the geranium (yes like the plant in your grandmother’s garden) so it produces a floral scent. Limonene is the oil from a citrus rind. As we all know, added fragrance to cosmetics can cause some major issues in those with allergies or sensitivities even if they are natural. I have KP (Keratosis pilaris) on my upper arms and I wouldn’t go near them with this product. I wouldn’t go near any area of the body that has any skin sensitivities like contact dermatitis, eczema, rosacea, etc. with this product as it may irritate.Learn your skin and what you are looking for in a product. What works for one person may not work for another.

I was really skeptical when I read that this oil was fast absorbing as most oils I have used are not but I wanted to give this a try. I spray it directly on my skin and rub it in abs it actually does absorb very fast however it leaves skin feeling a bit greasy. I can apply this without needing to wash my hands after BUT it feels like I still want to wash my hands...soIt doesn’t make you so greased up that you’re leaving fingerprints on your phone BUT it feels like you would be.It has a light citrus scent that’s very fresh and I like a lot.Overall this is a ice moisturizer and is helping my dry winter skin. I like the scent but I still prefer to Use a lotion as there is an after feel left on the skin.

First off I just want to note that mine did not arrive with a sealed lid, and had no lid.But I used it.This had a faint lemon scent to it, but really, I think it smelled mostly like baby oil.I've found baby oil messy and inconvenient to use before, but honestly, in a spray bottle, this was so convenient.I do not think it worked any different than baby oil, but I LOVED spraying it on!
