Switching to the Ceramic Inner Pot: Best Decision for My Instant Pot
I've been using the ceramic inner pot for my Instant Pot, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Compared to the traditional stainless steel inner pot, the ceramic version is much more convenient to use. Food doesn't stick as easily, making it ideal for a variety of cooking methods, especially sautéing and slow cooking. One of the best features is how easy it is to clean. Even after cooking stews, rice, or sticky dishes, a quick rinse with warm water and mild detergent is usually enough to get it spotless. Unlike stainless steel, it doesn't require heavy scrubbing, and it maintains a clean, smooth surface without much effort.Overall, the ceramic inner pot has made my cooking experience with the Instant Pot even more enjoyable. It's a great upgrade and highly recommended for anyone looking for better performance and easier maintenance.👍👍👍👍👍

Wonderful addition to my Instant Pot.
This ceramic insert made me fall in love with my Instant Pot again. Food doesn't stick and it's very easy to clean. The stainless steel one is good for brothy soups but this is great for more substantial foods and stuff with cheese.

Great non-stick go too pot... great replacement for the stainless steel.. very pleased
The Instant Pot ceramic non-stick inner pot is Teflon, PTFE and PFOA free from the Amazon ad and verified with the Instant Pot website. The ceramic coating is grey colored. Size is virtually identical to the original stainless steel pot (see pics) in terms of diameter and depth. I am not sure why other reviews noted a size difference. The ceramic is a coated aluminum (I think) pot, so on my electronic scale the stainless pot weights 1 lb 14 oz and the ceramic 1 lb 7 oz. It fits into the Instant Pot regular and Ultra fine with no problems. I use it as my #1 pot and saved the stainless steel as a backup. I've used the pot probably 3-times on average per week for about 8 months. The ceramic coating works very well, cooking or sautéing I've had no problems with sticking. Able to use less oil if sautéing. Cook time seems to be roughly the same between the two pots, in spite of their weight and composition difference. I don't sauté much with the pot but would guess the stainless pot might take a little longer to get up to top temperature. I have cooked stews and rice with no sticking. Once cooked it can be covered with the Instant Pot glass lid (link below) and kept warm or put into the oven to keep warm, however there are no handles, but the lip helps a little with kitchen gloves to transfer to the over or elsewhere .I use wood or nylon type utensils and have had no problem with chipping or scratching. I have no problems with staining after cooking red beets or curry, but cleaned up after cooking and didn't let sit in colored liquids overnight. Cleaning is easy using pads/sponges made to clean teflon type pans, one can also put the pot in the dishwasher.I have noted the lip on the edge pot has had the ceramic come off. I think this is due to the fastening of the lid to the pot, but again the ceramic on interior and exterior of the pot has remained intact.Overall pleased with this product, so much more easy than the stainless steel pot.Link to lid:https://smile.amazon.com/Genuine-Instant-Pot-Tempered-Glass/dp/B008FUJ2LK/ref=pd_bxgy_2/140-8164353-5345928?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B008FUJ2LK&pd_rd_r=a596ef14-9ee6-4377-b3e2-fcc43b175448&pd_rd_w=r6SVh&pd_rd_wg=sRfh9&pf_rd_p=fd08095f-55ff-4a15-9b49-4a1a719225a9&pf_rd_r=B01KF1YFKNQK1W8PV63Q&psc=1&refRID=B01KF1YFKNQK1W8PV63QIf you found the pics and added details useful, please hit the helpful button, it provides motivation to do experiments for this great community. Good purchase for a second inner pot!
After reading reviews on this product I was a little hesitant to purchase. I shouldn't have worried so much! This does not feel cheap or thin to me. It really is a nice pot and the price point is right for me. It works well, doesn't have even a fraction of the sticking that the stainless does (which has its place and I use regularly).I make a lot of sauces and it's very nice to not worry about the bottom of the pan getting too hot and burning. While I still watch it carefully I've not had any issues yet.One Month Update Jan 1, 2018: This has become the only inner pot I use. It's just so much easier to clean after cooking when compared to the stainless version. I've not had any heat issues at all. I was concerned early on that there would be "hot spots" from the element due to the fact that the bottom of this pan isn't double or triple layer like the stainless. This hasn't been the case at all.I've used my stainless inner pot to store things so that I can use the non-stick exclusively. I've used it about 20 times in the last month with NO signs of wear. I only use bamboo / wood / plastic utensils so I'm can't speak to its hardiness with metal utensils.

Good inner pot replacement
I bought this pot for the purpose of making rice in the instant pot. Every time we made rice with the stainless steel pot, it would end up sticking to the bottom and edges. This was not only an annoyance to clean but also contributed to food waste because of the extra grains we weren’t able to scrape and eat. This nonstick ceramic pot works much better and allows us to make rice a lot easier. I wouldn’t say it’s completely nonstick. There is still some mild sticking, but overall it is easier to scoop the rice off the edges with a small nudge. It is also much easier to clean. Compared to the stock stainless steel pot, it is roughly the same size and shape and fits in our 6 qt instant pot perfectly. I would recommend it for anyone aiming to make rice with their instant pot.
