I was told I have acid reflux and to use omneprezol (Prilosec) by my gastroenterologist. He said take it once a day forever - pharmaceutical directions say for only temporary use. I had some weird side effects and so did my son. Dry flaking skin unlike anything you could imagine. Now we both take the acid reducer before eating problem foods to prevent any problems and I've adjusted my diet. This is a solution you use when needed and I've never experienced any side effects - neither has my son.

Good OTC I take 2 of these to make the same prescription I was taking that my new US Healthcare wont cover. I take 2 of these each night for about a week when Im having trouble and it gets better. Easy open bottle, smooth reddish brick color round pills so easy to swallow if you have acid reflux issues.

I have been taking a prescription for Omeprazole for GERD for quite a number of years and have heard some negative reports about it so decided to continue to use the Omeprazole every other day and this product on an off day. So far I am doing okay, but get some reflux, whereas I didn't get it at all when I was only on the Omeprazole. I plan to continue doing this to minimize the risk of the Omeprazole. We'll see.

I must take high doses of this antihistamine slong with multiple other antihistamines that are of different configurations. This is required to treat my Mastocytosis. All together they HELP control the effects of my illness. It took a couple of years to get the correct dosage administered.

I ws prescribed 2 tablets a day by my GI doctor for an erophageal erosion/ulcer. No unpleasant side effects. Hopefully these tablets and dietary recommendations will improve the lesion.
