I am impressed with the quality/build of the ledges. I thought that a photo ledge would be a good option to change out photos of the grandchildren as they grow...different photo sizes and frame orientation... no more holes in the wall. I ordered them unfinished and then stained/polyurethaned them. They are pre-drilled and easy to install; all hardware was included. I didn't use the dot stickers to cover the screw heads because the color of the dot sticker did not match my stain color. They are wood, fingered together. In most cases, you wouldn't stain fingered wood but I figured with the frames on the ledge, you wouldn't see the fingering. My set was not damaged in shipping, but I could see how that could easily happen because the packaging was thin cardboard that barely held together and there was no protection for the wood. I would order again.

I have an awkward space behide my door. I can’t really put any shelves or furniture behind it. As you can see in the before photo, my room had no personal. I didn’t like the blink wall and wanted to add some character to my room. Ideally I would have loved to add some shelves, but because it was behide the door, I need something low profile so I went with a picture ledge. At first I was looking at the picture ledge from Ikea but Ikea didn’t my the length I wanted (36in) and the shipping cost was pricey, so I went for this one. And I got to say, I’m glad. My order came right on time. I had this for over 2 months now and I still love it. I’ve seen some people complain about the wall anchors that comes with the picture ledge and yeah the anchors don’t fit the drill hole and is hard to use, but personally for me it don’t matter because I rarely use wall anchors. I have mirrors hanging at my house without wall anchors and they’re doing just fine so personally for me it don’t matter. The product came undamaged. The quality is great, is real wood. I love it and I highly recommend it to anyone considering buying it.

Shelves are pretty well prepped for paint or varnish. Screws are decently long and the install pack even includes a level. Won't hold anything heavy but perfect for accent shelves near my desk.

These shelves are cute, and for the most part they work for what I need them to. However, if you get them wet, they will warp (they seem to go back to their regular shape once dry, but after they warped the first time, I’ve been careful not to get them wet since).I also had to use my own screws. The ones included stripped out very easily.Other than that, I’ve been happy with them, and really can’t complain for the price point. Definitely easier than building my own again. Lol

These are great quality and we’re easy to hang! We were so pleased we bought a second set for another location of our house.

I do really enjoy these and I think they are good quality. I just didn't consider how having the lip on the front of the shelf would limit the size of the items you can place on them. That's my own fault though, and I was able to make them work despite this. Its just something to keep in mind.

I bought the 48" set of 3 shelves in "carbonized black" to display a bunch of guitar effects pedals in my recording studio. The shelves were easy to install and they look very nice. They're real pine, as opposed to MDF or some kind of veneer over chipboard. In terms of sturdiness I'd say they're okay, but not great. I wouldn't trust a lot of weight on them mainly because the joint between the shelf and the mounting strip isn't particularly robust. But for relatively light things, I think they'll be fine. My bigger complaint is the spacing of the 3 mounting holes on each shelf. They're not 16" apart, so you can't mount them into standard US wall studs using the existing holes. I ended up putting the middle screw into a stud and using the included wallboard anchors for the other two holes. It's not going to fall down with this arrangement, but I'd like it a lot more if I could have put all the screws into studs.
