I have multiple silver serving pieces that need polishing and thought this would be quick and easy. 1. items don't go in the sink as shown, you must have a plastic bin to put into your sink. 2. My bin was 15 gallons. You have to cover everything in BOILING water. My 2 largest tops totalled 11 quarts so I could only put a few items in. 3. Nothing came out more than slightly better than it went in. 4. You need rubber gloves to handle heavy pots to move to the sink and then you have to rinse in warm, soapy water which meant taking the bin out of the sink. 5. Items with handles were broken off probably because the boiling water ruined the connection.
