The media could not be loaded.  I have a 76ft single wide I bought 250ft wire it went all the way down one side and maybe 7ft up the other side very easy to install the clips and the wire I highly recommend not doing this project in January if you can help it

This is my second season with these cables on my roof, they really do they job. I live in Michigan and I was getting giant ice dams on my gutters on the south side of my house. The ice would melt then leak under the facia board and drip into my walls. This was causing soggy drywall and mold in our closet. Since putting this cable on the roof I have had Zero problems. Take your time to plan it out where you're going to start on the roof and where you want it to end. I ran the cable through the gutter in addition to on the roof. Read the instructions you will need to buy 1 long cable because they do not recommend stringing multiple cables together. If you need a extension cord make sure you get an outdoor one that is rated for this project. This cable creates a path for melting snow to drain away from your roof. It was a fair amount of work to do by myself but your house is likely the most expensive thing you own. It's worth it!

Purchased heat tape from this seller. The heat tape sat on my shelf for two months. When I went to install it, it tripped the breaker, thus it’s defective.Seller did not respond back to my request for some sort of compensation or replacement.

I have a double wide in northern Maine.... so lots of snow. This does a great job of getting the roof to start melting. I bought the 240’ so that I could cover my skylights, vents, and gutter. Works like a charm!Before this I had ice dams below all skylights, vents, and the chimney. No more! Now any melt has clear paths off the roof and out the gutter.You need to know, this will not clear your roof. It keeps channels clear so water can run off. That with the sun it will eventually clear your roof, but not all by itself. It DOES keep you free of ice dams!Installed on my own in just a few hours (I work slow).

Very easy installation. Product is well priced. Here are some tips I can offer to make sure your install goes smoothly:1) make sure you plan out your configuration before ordering. This will make sure you order the correct length and will give you a road map when doing the actual installation.2) make sure you use s putty knife or something similar to not only lift shingles for the clips but also to push the clips onto the shingle. This will prevent the tips of your fingers from getting raw by the end of the install.3) uncoil the cable by turning the coil with both hands and laying the cable on the ground. Do not use one hand to unwind the cable while holding the coil with the other. This will make sure that the cable doesn't get twisted before you begin the install (and prevents a lot of frustration).

I’m a 62 year old women and had no problem with installation. I watched a couple You Tube videos to properly measure and installation tips. So far so good!
