Follow my tips and you won't be disappointed.
I see negative reviews and I'm surprised! This came quickly, and once constructed is solid. I'm a 230lbs man, and my girlfriend is around 107, and together on the bed it holds firm and there is no indication of give. I did read reviews complain of creaking. I have two tips when ordering this bed.1- get a buddy to help. The instructions are easy enough. But it would be very difficult to do solo. Myself and my tenant, who is an extremely talent and capable handy man, got it done in just under 4 hours.2- use wood glue! If it's a seam where wood joins wood, pop some wood glue between them before screwing any piece together. This will eliminate most to all potential creaking issues.I have had items delivered broken before from this company, but they make a good effort to correct mistakes. I give it 5 stars. Well worth the money, looks sharp as hell, and is a great space saver.

and bad packaging. It's made of fiberboard (which is understandable ...
Unfortunately this product is just awful - low quality and flimsy construction, nearly incomprehensible directions, and bad packaging. It's made of fiberboard (which is understandable at this price point) but a number of screws tore out of the fiber board during set up; the pre-drilled screw holes don't line up accurately; the drawer bottoms keep popping out of their channels with anything more than a few shirts in them. The instructions don't indicate which side of many boards are supposed to face so it's not until you are well along in the assembly process will you discover if you have to disassemble and start again. Worst of all, it's generally flimsy; any kid who decides to jump up and down on their mattress might push the platform panels (which just lay on the frame, they aren't screwed down) through the platform frame. It's not worth the money!

It was easy to put together and after reading reviews from others ...
This bed is ideal for a boy with a small-ish room. It was easy to put together and after reading reviews from others I chose to glue the segments together during assembly. It added a bit of time and was a bit messier, but the bed is rock solid and looks good. The only frustration I came across was the difficulty in aligning the drawers into the slides. The first two drawers took me over 10 minutes of good swearing to figure out. After I got the technique down the last two were a breeze.

Lasted less than one year
I was very excited to receive this product. I had just moved into a very small room in NYC and this was going to save me a lot of space while also providing much needed storage. The product itself is very shoddy. The wood is not of any decent quality. You feel as though it's going to fall over with a good wind even when it's all put together properly. The product is very difficult to assemble. It takes two people who really know what they're doing. There is very little to brace or reinforce for weight. The drawers broke within two or three months of my having put it together. The wood was of such poor quality that the metal pieces weighed it down too much and the drawers collapsed. All that was in those drawers were clothing. Not over stuffed or anything like that just socks and underwear. The bed frame itself was always very creaky. I've had wood frames before so I was used to the give of wood. Then one day my boyfriend and I were in bed together and it just completely cracked and broke. I haven't even had the bed frame for one year yet. I should be able to have sex in my bed without it breaking from the motion. It was cracked in three different places. Furthermore, since the wood is such poor quality it broke in such a way that it can't be fixed without several large pieces being completely replaced. It was cheaper to just buy a new, more sturdy, metal frame.I would NOT recommend this bed to anyone.

Can't Complain Much. Its just a bedframe.
Came to my house damaged at the corners, but they provided a touch up pen (which is just a black marker) to help with that. there were a few screws missing and one of my draws misaligned the first time I pulled it out to store something in it. The bottom part of it pop off too. I think it can't hold a lot of weight, which kind of makes it useless for what I wanted it for since I have little space and need a place to put my moves (I have a lot). The frame is gorgeous though and it was simple to put together. I put it together on my own, but I recommend having someone else with you when you do. There are some parts of the project that require more than two hand. there were points where I was holding one end with my legs just to keep it steady enough so I can put it a screw or hammer a nail. It does what I bought it to do which is hold my mattress so I'm not sleeping on the floor anymore. I just wish the drawers were sturdier and possibly deeper.

Black Onyx Bed
Wow, what a great buy. Easy to put together. Looks even better than the picture. the drawers are a big plus and they hold a lot of clothes.

oh boy. where to begin. i ordered this bed and then about 20mins later decided to cancel it. but i was refused that option. i tried several times to cancel before it was shipped but to no avail. it showed up, late. it was more than one extremely heavy box with nothing to hang onto. there were holes in the sides of the boxes. once we tried to put it together there were pieces missing. there were scuffs. there were splinters. it was just a mess. very frustrating. it isn't eligible for pickup where i am and i have no vehicle to take it to the post office to send it back. so, it went in the dumpster. HUGE waste of my money. very upset.oh, it also did not come with a headboard as displayed in the advertising photos.

Good quality.
Plenty of storage and looks really nice. Didn't realize it was going to be so high, not recommended for short people.

Do not order - Flimsy and falls apart
Made from glued wood chips that crumble, mine cracked and fell apart after 2 weeks of my 10 year old sleeping on it. The package(s) it comes in are really heavy but the actual boards are crumble under the slightest pressure. I had to add boards in the middle to support the weight and 2 x 3 wood to both sides of the cross boards plus a ton of L-brackets to keep the whole thing together. Good idea but really badly made.

Use in spare room. NOT YOUR BEDROOM
The media could not be loaded. I mean, we still use it. But it is falling apart after 2 months. I'd like to call in the 5yr warranty when we move out next week. Cause it is just getting worse. No point in moving this to the new place. The drawer busted, well in all of them the bottum bends and pops out (and I literally just have linen in it 😂😂) another drawer we have directly on the floor cause it just gone to shiiiiit. And when adult activites happen, your like (this is the day we fall through 😂😂) the bed, it's a hallow box, so you make movement it's going to shift from this □ to this ◇ .. well not that dramatic. But pretty much. If you are willing to buy. Honistly not a bad bed, if you use it for the spare room..
