King of dampening sounds and vibrations
I recently purchased Sorbothane to address the noise issue I had with my keyboard, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations! This product has proven to be an incredible sound reduction solution, and I'm extremely satisfied with the results.Firstly, the installation process was a breeze. Sorbothane comes in a convenient sheet form that can be easily cut to fit various surfaces. I simply measured and trimmed the sheet to match the dimensions of my keyboard, and then placed it underneath. The adhesive backing ensured a secure attachment without any hassle. The difference in sound reduction was immediately noticeable. Previously, my keyboard produced a loud and distracting noise with each keystroke, making it difficult for me to focus on my work or enjoy a peaceful environment. However, Sorbothane has significantly dampened the impact noise, resulting in a much quieter typing experience. I can now type away without disturbing others around me, and it has greatly improved my overall productivity.Another aspect worth mentioning is the durability of Sorbothane. Even after prolonged use, it has maintained its effectiveness in reducing sound. The material is robust and shows no signs of wear or deterioration. I appreciate that I don't have to worry about replacing it frequently, as it seems to be built to last. One additional benefit of Sorbothane is that it also helps with vibration reduction. The material absorbs the vibrations generated by keystrokes, providing a more comfortable and stable typing experience. It's particularly useful for mechanical keyboards that tend to have a higher level of vibration. In terms of value for money, Sorbothane is definitely worth the investment. While it may seem a bit pricier than other alternatives, the results it delivers are unmatched. The peace and quiet it brings to my workspace are invaluable, and I would gladly recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable sound reduction solution for their keyboard or other similar applications.

Great for Keyboard Dampening.
Dampened and gave me a slightly more THOCKY sound for my mechanical keyboard! Easy to cut and the film is easy to peel.

Sorbothane (.10" x 6" x 12") 40 Duro Sheet
The Sorbothane sheet (.10" x 6" x 12") came in as advertised - no surprises - it met and exceeded my expectations. The product came well packaged, in it's own product envelope. Additionally, the Sorbothane sheet has additional clear thin plastic sheets on both sides, which don't need removing unless your application requires it - i.e. adhesion to one or multiples surfaces. In my case I left the protective sheets on, since the adhesive aspect of the Sorbothane sheet was not required for the inside of a keyboard case.Only ended up cutting away part of the product which didn't fit the internals of the keyboard tray; marked and punched the required holes to clear the screw posts/bosses in the tray. Used dressmaker shears to slowly cut the Sorbothane sheet, which worked well on the .10" thick sheet.

Perfect for Keyboards!
If you're looking to fill a hollow keyboard case or make a "tighter" sound then this is good stuff to get. I think the board sounds a lot better, slightly more muted with the sorbothane in the bottom housing. This is enough for up to a tenkeyless (what I use).A couple tips:- Cut to size before removing it from plastic protective film- For a keyboard, maybe don't remove the protective film at all, but if you do only remove it from one side. It's best to keep the plastic on the PCB side, otherwise it'll stick to your PCB like glue the next time you take your keyboard apart.

Works great and there are noticeable results with sound
I bought a pewdiepie gaming keyboard recently and wanted to make it a little more quieter. This is the perfect amount of material for a 60% keyboard. You'll have a good bit left over actually. I'm not exactly sure what to do with the scraps but I'm sure I'll find something.
