With the addition of terminal strips, this box makes a perfect junction for RV solar panels.

This item has correct dimensions for a 4 x 4 x 4 Conduit Box. The "Cantex" Industries Brand is a solid box and has the actual 4 x 4 x 4 inside dimensions needed for certain applications. Other PVC brand boxes are less than acceptable and the quality is lacking.

This is a sturdy well made box which worked perfectly for my application. I bought one recently from a local electrical supply house because I needed it "now." Happily, I got it for a lot less than the price here on Amazon. Here are a couple of caveats: 1. The box pictured is a 4x4x2. Hopefully the box you buy will be the correct dimensions and not what is depicted. Recently I purchased a 4-gal point of use hot water heater from a secondary seller on Amazon and I relied on the picture in the ad, only to find when it arrived it was NOT the one I wanted. It had been recently superseded by a "newer model" which would not quite fit in my sink cabinet, but the seller had not updated the photo. The obvious lesson is that if the product photo does not seem to match the description, write the seller for clarification. Caveat number 2: there are no holes in this junction box, which is the good news and the bad, depending on your situation. I have a well equipped workshop so drilling the exact size holes in the precise locations I wanted was easy for me, but if you do not have the tools, this would be just a nice "water-tight" box with a screw down lid.
