Very attractive look. I'm using it for display only but it looks like it really could work.

Read full description.. this a garbage product.
I really liked the look of the barrel so I ordered it. I missed the part in the description where it said it had a plastic liner.. why would an oak barrel have a plastic liner? Not sure... I figured I'd give it a try anyways so I put about 2 liters of whisky in it... within 3 days it started leaking from the side of the barrel.. I will be returning this bogus item. If you want my advice find another barrel.

Read the fine print
You have to scroll all the way down to the secondary description to see the obscure note that this barrel has a liner. Why would you bother lining an aging barrel?The point of buying an oak barrel, IS THE BARREL!If I wanted to use oak chips, I'd put it in a carboy.Description seems intentionally misleading.
