I bought this for my grand daughter that lives in the Czech Republic because she is getting so excited about science and biology and I thought this would be a good addition to the other "science" presents that I bought her. They were here visiting for the holidays, and it fell apart as soon as she started using it, not abusing it, just using it, and it just started to fall apart. We don't have the box that it came in, so I guess I'm stuck with it, all broken. She didn't take it back to Prague, why would she, it doesn't work!

This I did buy it used because my daughter wanted it and I saw all the reviews saying that it is not surdy and falling apart. Well that's esactly what happened I had to buy super glue and glue it all lve to stay together and seem like it functions this does not zoom to focus or anythubg like that just a starter binocular or just to collect all the nacy b science tools.

These are awful. Purchased them in July for my daughter's birthday in November. They appeared fine inside he packaging when they arrived but as soon as she opened them they literally fell apart before she could even play with them. Unfortunately, it's too late to return them now. Waste of money.

My granddaughter just loves this gift I got her for Christmas. She is intrigued by science. I love buying her things that are educational and deal with STEM.

I bought these for a 3 year old and I also got a package of nature stickers that she can put in the nature book since she is too young to document nature she see. I think that these are sturdy enough for a 3 yr old and would not be good enough for an 8 yr old. An 8 yr old would need actual binoculars. I would love to see this nature workbook with a real set of binoculars but then the price wouldn't be as good!

This Nancy B Science Club Binoculars are so cute!My daughter loves the colors of it and the little activity book is a plus for us.She can use it to look at bugs and birds outside. It is a great quality product and we were not dissatisfied with it.I would recommend this if you are looking for a good binocular for your child.

Had to re-engineer the hinge and compass. The center portion attached to the lens kept falling off. It is attached by a small wood screw, very strange construction. Glued the center portion instead of using the screw. Not sure why the makers didn't go this route, no function lost and more durable.

I give this 3 stars as its all super cute wit the book and packaging. But as far as the binoculours go I am very dissapointed. I dont see much difference at all when trying to focus them. My son has another pair that are real ones and its like night and day the difference between the quality. I do not recommend these.
