The Clip-On Rear View Mirror for PC Monitors is a great little gadget for blocking prying eyes. It works well in most situations, but when I placed it on my computer screen, it did slightly obstruct my view. Still, it definitely does the job and provides some privacy. A handy tool if you need to protect your screen from unwanted looks!

I bought this mirror to enable me to glance at the TV, which is behind my computer, without turning around. For the most part it works well, but it is a very small mirror so it has to be placed perfectly and you have to be seated in an exactly perfect position for it to work. Another problem is the clip. It doesn't open very wide so it won't clip to the top of my monitor and the contact surfaces are hard plastic, so they don't grip very well. Furthermore, the clip has very little strength so it won't hold the mirror in some positions. Adding rubber bands around the upper part of the clip helped add some strength. Adding rubber bands around the contact surfaces helped improve the grip and made it more usable.

Cons:- Mirror is too small to be very useful for its own intended use (reflective surface is 2" x 3.25"., for scale...an iPhone4S is 4.5"x2.3", and an iPhone5 is 2.37x4.87)- Clip is too small to hold onto either of my LCD monitors (19" and 24" ViewSonic). It comes with an adhesive option, but then you can't move it ever.- Mirror surface is so-so at best(distorted at the edges). I'm not sure if they're trying to half-ass a convex mirror or if it's just poor quality materials.I should have just saved time and money and done what others seem to do...buy a small plastic-handled vanity mirror from somewhere like the Dollar Store.Pro:- If you use the adhesive option, it would have a pretty clean installed look.

The clip on this mirror is made in such a way that if you can clip it somewhere other than your monitor it would probably be best. I unfortunately don't have another location. Because of how long the clip part is I have to put it all the way to the corner, which is fine, just so the clip doesn't hit the screen itself, but it's wider than the edge of my monitor so it does block the screen a bit and slides around on occassion. The only issue with having to put it all the way in the corner is that it weighs my monitor down just a bit, so my screen tilts a bit to the right (but not a lot) instead of sitting square and upright. If you're not using a mounting arm but have a more stationary monitor, then this shouldn't be a problem. It also can slide around sometimes and ends up crooked or knocked to one side, so I just have to readjust it once in a while. It works well though, and has a nice pivoting ball joint so I can angle it just the way I want. It allows me to see down the hallway behind me to see who's coming, which is all I needed it to do. I only knocked one star off because of how it doesn't stay securely all the time and tilts the screen with it's weight. I think if the clip part was a little skinnier to account for the fact that it has to sit in the corner of the monitor and maybe had some rubber grip to keep it in place instead of just the plastic grooves that don't grip to a plastic monitor, then it would probably be 5 stars.All in all it does the job and for a pretty reasonable price, by far the best quality of the mirror itself and not warping or being distorted like I've seen on most of these types of computer mirrors.

Yikes, well, I give it 2 stars because it has a clip-on feature and it is a mirror as the title states, but past that, meh. As others have said, the mirror is a bit flimsy and although it gives a clear image, it is distorted around the edges. The picture of the item in the description is also misleading a bit as it looks longer and more like an actual rear view mirror. It's smaller than a deck of cards. If you just need something to see figures coming at you, and you are too agoraphobic and don't want to leave the house to go to the Dollar store, then feel free to make this purchase, otherwise, I would suggest to give this a pass. Definitely not worth $16.99 for the convenience of Prime shipping!

great product, small, adjustable, no one can sneak upon you and it can clip onto small items. I have not use the adhesion, which is why I rated two stars. I bought this mirror so I can see who is coming up behind me while working. At first I thought it was too small, it works well on my desk at work and a good size to see who is coming up behind you. It can be adjusted when clipped to a lamp post on your desk, or computer monitor. I bought 2 extra mirrors to share in the office because they liked the item as well.

Didn’t know how much I needed this until I go it. It’s discreet. Perfectly sized. Great ability to change angles. Helped me out several times in the office already. For applying makeup and keeping creeps away.

No esperaba mucho de este artículo. Muy pequeño y me daba la impresión de ser muy endeble. Sin embargo, allí está prendido de mi pantalla desde que me llegó hace unos días. Aunque si se llega a caer, no respondo por él.Sin embargo, la pinza lastimó un poco la pantalla. Hubiera sido muy fácil ponerle un par de almohadillas, algunas gomas con tracción para que no se resbalara, para que no rasguñara la pantalla, para repartir mejor la fuerza. Pero eso no fue lo malo. Sabía que tenía un tamaño pequeño, pero pensé que serviría para su propósito. Sin embargo, la superficie del vidrio/plástico (no he verificado qué es) reflejante tiene irregularidades que hacen defectuoso al reflejo.Sé que no es un artículo caro, pero lo que no sirve para lo que es, SIEMPRE es caro. No puedo creer que salga muy caro poner un espejo de ese tamaño con una superficie perfectamente lisa. Intentaré reemplazar yo mismo el espejo y espero que sea posible, pero por no traerlo de fábrica, apenas tengo un reflejo defectuoso que no me permite ver detalles en el reflejo. Insisto, hubiera sido muy fácil hacerlo funcional sin encarecerlo. Lástima, porque la idea no es mala.
