My purchase decision was actually based on the single review I read from a fellow guitarist. Yes- Your reviews are important! This is the first guitar of several I've purchased (including Ibanez, Schecter, six and seven string, etc.) that didn't need to be restrung, and completely setup before I could make some decent noise.This particular model exceeded all my expectations beyond a "beginner" guitar. I was looking for an inexpensive travel guitar to haul around that could take some punishment without worrying about road damage. I've already rethought its purpose. It plays clean, fast, and the pickups are above average in tone and volume. My only negative is that it didn't come with the "H-101FM" inlay on the fretboard as pictured. Yes, I'm that picky. It has the standard two pearl dots instead. Despite that small disappointment, I highly recommend this guitar for an intermediate and above player.I would definitely purchase again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Playability is excellent - string height was low *by R***. on February 26, 2018* Over the past 30 years I have owned several dozen guitars, from $100 cheapo les paul copies all the way up to a $3,000 Gibson R8, and for the money, I will take this guitar any day. Every guitar I have ever bought required a setup EXCEPT this one. Playability is excellent - string height was low, no buzzing at all and perfect intonation. The hardtail and factory tuners (Gotohs?) keep the guitar in tune. Fit and finish was flawless with a beautiful cherry red finish. Designed for rock to metal and the pickups deliver strong, well defined note articulation. I am using this guitar with a Marshall DSL1 CR 1 watt tube combo with reverb and I can recreate classic rock tones (think Thin Lizzy and UFO) to heavy metal.If anything happened to this guitar, I would buy another immediately - fantastic guitar for the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good seller! *by A***L on July 11, 2018* Thank you, this guitar is beautiful, plays and holds a tune.
