These poles are great replacement to covers that may be wearing or have holes or tearing where the poles go. The pivoted rubber seems to take a lot of the strain on the cover while providing good support. Will slowly buy these as my standard poles need replaced. Would say that these are still a little on the pricey side and would like to see a volume discount option.

Wow, what an upgrade from what I received when I purchased my boat. We purchased a custom fit cover with our Pontoon upon ordering the boat. It really sagged with the provided poles when the cover was on. These poles are great, sturdy and the bottom rubber footing makes the difference. Now our cover fits nice and snug.

We had twist poles that NEVER stayed up no matter how tight we twisted them. For years we were collecting water on our pontoon cover which cuased the cover to stretch. Bought these and the are great. The base and double camlock are fantastic. Highly recommend.

I orderef 2. Received them in one box but was charged twice for shipping . So far I haven't used them yet but they seem very sturdy. The base is smaller than what I anticipated.

This is the 2nd time I have ordered these and they arrive really fast (3 days) and work great for propping up the canvas on my boat. Sturdy, well built, and recommend.

Great pole just a caution; is to be careful extending them to the max. I have had one break at the plastic tightening joint during a stormy day, because of this. As it seems to be easily snapped because a lot of pressure is on the plastic joint when fully extended. A bit of a design flaw one would think. But like I said in the description 30 years of boating and I haven't found a better support pole. So I would give it 4.5 stars.

I liked the base it stays in place, too bad they don't have an affordable round cap,I don't need a vented cap that they offer, just a good inexpensive one.

I used this to help push up the boat cover so that rain would drain off the cover and not puddle. I bought three of them. Works great! The boat has been kept outside here in Seattle WA. Nice quality product.
