All About the Hogwarts Houses (Harry Potter)

Granddaughter is only 6, the writing is geared for a more experienced reader. But she loved it was Hogwarts! Lots of good activities inside. Maybe for 8 or 10 year old.

I got this book for my 7-year-old son and he absolutely loved it! He is already a Harry Potter fan, and this book made him even more excited about the Hogwarts houses. The illustrations are colorful and engaging, and the content is easy for kids to understand. It’s a great introduction to the different houses and their characteristics. My son enjoyed learning about each one and even started talking about which house he would belong to 😊 The quality of the book is also really nice—well made and perfect for young readers. A gift to our granddaughter.

Wish at told more about the Hogwarts Houses than the characters that were in them especially when it came to the house symbols. Ravenclaw house is put down as just a bird and it said nothing of why Gryffindor was a lion symbol.

You could read this to a child but you'd have to read through it first to be able to piece together the story around the activities. Much more of an activity book than a story book.
