I love the flared ends, keeps your hand in place. I stick one of the cob in center hole and with a twisting motion, I push cob in as far as I can. I then flip it over and pull the cob through with the same twisting motion. Less than 30 seconds, the corn is off the cob. I would have not frozen any corn if I had to cut with a knife or push blade. It also does not rust. Best kitchen gadget I have ever used.

This has to be one of the most amazing inventions since sliced bread! I saw a video of a gentleman hooking this up to a drill. It didn't work for us, however, it still saves us so much time when canning corn.

My Grandmother would have loved this little gem! I love corn on the cob! Summer is not summer without corn on the cob. My husband does not like getting it stuck in his teeth. Grandmother had dentures so that was no fun. This little tool is fast and easy to use. Does a perfect job. I would recommend a silicone MIT to hold the steaming hot cob. The tool says cool. Just a few twists and corn cuts off so easy. No slip of the knife so your fingers will also love it.

I have never left a review on any purchase before in my life but I just have to say that I was impressed with the corn sheller. It is simple to use and appears to be sturdy. I shelled a bucket of Jimmy Red corn and, while I was getting a bit of a workout, it was due to my age and not the sheller.

Way to hard to use if the corn on the cob ears are ot very small it dosent work at all so is basically useless I thought it would make removing corn from the cob to.freeze it much faster and easier but it dosent will throw away or give away a d continue to use a.plain super sharp knife which is easier and faster so bottom line don't waste your money on this

The item is well made solid but I didn’t realize the center size and how that relates to corn cobs. I’ve tried to use it and no corn was stripped from the cob. Then when I’ve used it on bigger cobs the 1/4 of the cob also isn’t stripped. Maybe there is a technique that I’m not aware of but I’m going to search for a different model that is either flexible or is the peeler style.

Wanted to freeze a lot of corn this year and a knife always worked fine, but was looking for an easier, and hopefully faster, way to plow through bushels. Tried three different options. This one was by far the best! Kernels on blanched corn came off clean and easy. If you want to make creamed corn, angling the cob and twisting it through again, or on the first round, did the trick for getting more milk. Recommend adding this reasonably priced tool to your kitchen arsenal if you want to make fast work of freezing a lot of corn! Bonuses: My hands didn't feel the usual fatigue they did with using a knife and the kernels have a clean, company-approved appearance!
