Nail Art Stamping Kit- 10 Manicure Plate Set with Polish Stamper and Scraper by Salon Designs

I started out trying to use the As Seen on TV nail stamping kit and could never get it to work. So I was a little hesitant on purchasing this item ( 30-piece nail stamping kit) but I am so happy I purchase this. it is a great product and it is the only stamping kit that I have found (other than konad which is pretty expensive) that works flawlessly. It arrived on time and the packaging was good and well-protected. The only bad things I have to say about this product are: 1.The scraper that this kit comes with does scratch the plates so I recommend using a old credit card or a card that you are no longer using to scrap the nail polish off instead of the scraper. 2.The edges of the plates themselves are very sharp. I cut myself just trying to remove the blue protective film that is on the plate. So be very careful when handling and if you are purchasing this item for a child (I purchased this for my nine-year-old niece but of course I tested them first) I would recommend purchasing a set of protective sleeves (can be found on Amazon as well) so your little ones don't hurt themselves. 3.the plates I received had scratches all over them and I was worried that the images on the plates would be affected by the scratches but after taking the blue film off I found that the scratches that were on the plates were superficial and did not affect the design at all. the Stamper itself works great the only thing I did 2 it was cleaned it off with acetone before using it. The designs are amazing. I'm not sure if each set comes with different plates in them but the plates I received have some of the following designs on them: flowers and hearts (great for Valentine's Day), snowflakes and presents (great for Christmas), yin yang, dragon's, and butterflies, just to name a few But there are so many more and each stamping plate has 6 - 7 designs on it. This product is a must-have for all nail fanatics and I still can't believe that I got 30 plates for $13. It is a great deal and I highly recommend purchasing this I promise you won't be disappointed. I myself plan on purchasing the 100-piece stamping kit ASAP.

I have to say that for the price I am extremely pleased with this set. I have only found a couple, maybe 3-4, designs out of all of them that didn't transfer very well because they were not etched that deep. For such a cheap price this was a fantastic way to try stamping to see if I liked it. I do a lot with my nails and I really like the stamping. I used an old debit card for a scraper and I did find this worked perfectly. I had no issues with the stamper itself, its works fantastic. I did take it off and put a little piece of cotton in to make the rubber stick up a bit higher so I don't have to worry about the edge when rolling on my stamp. I have recommended this to several friends who were impressed with my nails and I know that one of them has bought it for their daughter to try stamping as well because the price is so reasonable. I will also be buying this as gifts for some young ladies I know that will want to try it for themselves, that way I don't have to share mine!

Sooooo..... NOT very happy with this, maybe I was expecting too much I'm not sure but not a fan of this :(I like doing my own nails besides saving me the $30 every 2 weeks on gel mani it gives me something to do, almost like a hobby for me. I seen this on TV awhile ago and thought that's AWESOME for my nails when I seen the bulk package with 30 plates I super excited, however after they arrived not so much :(First the plates a few of them are straight repeats, duplicates and not even good duplicates. The plates are very random and generic most of the plates are a flower design of some kind NO holiday plates you would figure snowmen or pumpkins but NO it's really basically all flowers. Chinese writing, Flowers, Letters and Flowers is all this set consist of. There are 2 plates that are design for the French tip mani, one plate is solid tip and the other plate has some designs like polka dots and lines through the French tip but nothing fabulous.As for working NOT REALLY, I'm no pro BUT I always get compliments on my nails even when I do decide to treat myself at the salon I always get compliments about the design (I always do on my ring fingers) which always compliments my mani. Anyways this does NOTHING for your nails :( The scrapper is garbage, it barely works I used a cut out piece of cardboard to do the scraping which gives a much more even and clean scrape. As for stamping I have not been able to get a good one on my nails :(It's a good idea and maybe with more practice it will become easier and look nicer but I wouldn't expect too much from this.

The whole reason I picked this set was because it had a plain French tip plate. This arrived with a double of one of the plates (CO6 two farthest left) and no plain French tip plate :-( the edges are dangerously sharp. The stamper is hit or miss picking up the design and almost never completely transfers the design. Konad stamper is much better, most designs seem to be etched well enough to pick up, although having problems with some of the more intricate designs. Bottom line- 11 plates in a 10 plate set, one is a double so that means it's really still a 10 plate set, scraper is metal and not my preference, stamper is not great but might 1\2 way work with several tries. plates I have used so far seem to work pretty good when I used the higher quality stamper, But the whole reason I got this set was for the plain French tip, not the other designs, so pretty much a loss for me :-(
