Prepping the foam tiles
When your package arrives it will be ultra compressed and wrapped in flexible Packaging. It's hard to overstate how highly compressed the foam is inside this Packaging. The best way to unwrap it is with a pair of surgical safety scissors ( the ones with the blunt tip on the bottom so you don't gouge your patient). Once you have them unwrapped you simply locate a place in your studio or your office or wherever you intend to install them, and place the tiles on the floor or on countertops, and allow them to sit for 24 hours. This should allow enough time for the foam to expand to its original dimensions. However, if you purchased a combination of black plus some other color such as gray, the non black tiles may appear to be completely flat and totally defective even after 24 hours. My advice to you, immediately after unwrapping the package, is to reconstitute each tile by soaking it in a full sink of water then wringing it out before setting each tile aside to dry. Note, you can fold each tile prior to wringing it out but be cautious as you fold the wet foam because you can damage it if you're not careful. The truth is, i wouldn't even wait the initial 24 hours for the foam to self-restore. Hit the water, wait for them to dry, and your non black tiles should look similar, if not identical in dimensions to those that are black. As far as performance and quality of these tiles, they're fine. I mean what else can you say, it's just foam.

this product was recommended to me by a friend
The media could not be loaded. I am a audiophile and after doing a huge amount of research for acoustic treatment, this product was recommended to me by a friend. These products sell it for about a dollar a square foot.I used sticky tapes (the adhesive ones you pill off to get them on the walls. Good thing is that, these stuff will not damage your acoustic tiles, your walls, ceilings and paint if need to remove or re-arrage.PRO- IT is fire retardant so it will not burn on fire- Cut fairly well, and are about identical in size, with a minor differences- The panels are an inch thick, from the base to the top of each pyramid- Look professional and are aesthetically design- Great for reverb absorption, not diffusion- No smell

Helped with what I needed.
My main issues that I was working with is that I live in an apartment and I am not able to put holes in the walls so my home studio walls were bare and had a lot of high frequency reflection from behind my set up. I needed something that would take care of high frequency reflection from my monitors and could be taken down with no damage. So I am trying out these accustic pannels. It does not kill all the rooms brightness or reverb but does help with the high frequency reflection from behind my monitors. My monitors sound closer to the sound from my headphones which helps in production and mixing.

Good product, horrible execution.
First I want to say that the foam works very well for minimizing sound. I'm using the foam to minimize sound from my 3D printer.Pros: Great packaging. I couldn't believe they managed to get 12 squares of sound foam so compressed.Cons: First it only comes with FOUR sticking squares. One of the reasons I went with this product is because I saw the 3M tape vs having to use adhesive spray. Unfortunately it only comes with a sample back of four, and a link to purchase more from the manufacturer. Second the directions say to spray the foam with water and wait 24 hours - EXPECT TO WAIT 48 HRS. This is foam, a huge sponge. After 24 hours they were still full of water. Not a huge deal if you don't mind waiting, just make sure you're not up against a deadline.Overall: I like the product and have a feeling they will make improvements. Most of the problems came from business execution vs the acoustic foam itself.

Affordable price and really does help with enhancing sound quality
The media could not be loaded. These are very good acoustic foam panels that are pre-cut to square sizes that you can DIY. I wanted a simple solution to my drywall echo noise when blasting music in the background. Was getting a lot of echo and reverb from the speakers which is situated in the back and front of my monitors. I have a 7.1 Bose speaker bass set.I re-ordered again and had them also installed in my studio room with different colors.PRO- Easy to install- Affordable Price- Came with samples for adhesive tape, it was extra- Helpful download pdf guide to assist how to installCON- Came compressed due to shipping, but after waiting and water dip it restored back to sizeOverall, A+++

Great for design and sound dampening from echo reverbs in room
The media could not be loaded. Blue and Black acoustic panels made my room so much cooler. I used this for my 200 sq ft office and home space. It is nice and I do notice a difference in the echo from my isolated room. This acoustic foam has dramatically enhanced my style and audio performance! It did arrived compressed in packaging but as instructed waiting for about a few hours, the foam restored back to original size and ready for the installation.Bought some spray glue and added it to the wall, very simple DIY project

For the price, I guess it's right
Very hard to keep glued to walls. Didn't notice much difference in sound proofing.
