Q: Is there a way to remove the cover of the thermometer? The needle is stuck at 25°C and won't move.

My thermometer is resting at about the same place, which is about room temperature. It isn’t really necessary for cooking because after a while you learn where to set your burners for the best outcomes. Does the indicator still rise okay when you’re cooking? If so, just learn the best temperatures for what you’re cooking. In my opinion, this little cooker is a great invention—seldom need to heat a big oven anymore. Hints: buy the black non-stick pan for roasted veggies and casseroles, and add the trivet for bread and muffin-type items so the bottoms don’t burn.
