I was pleasantly Surprised by the quality of this kit. Since it was made for kids i didnt have high hopes but the paints that were included were extremely pigmaneted and opaque! It came with plenty of paint and the extra brushes were very nice! The figures themselves were quite detailed and took the paint well, so far theres been no chipping or flaking of the paint. Do keep in mind some of the colors like the blue and red paint can stain skin and clothes so this might be good for your older kiddos

The molds used for these are the same as the ones Safari Ltd uses for their “forest dragon” figures. I’m curious if they know :o The plastic they are made of seems durable enough. However, it does not take the included paints well. One coat of paint will need to dry completely, then another one applied before they look like anything. (In the photo, the wings just have one coat of paint, while the body has two.) A good thing is that once painted and dried, the paint does not rinse off with water.

These were very easy to paint. The kids loved painting them.

I recently purchased the dragon painting kit, and it's fantastic! It includes 2 large dragons, all with incredible detail. With metallic color paint, and mixing instructions, my son will have a blast creating unique designs. I originally planned to save it for his birthday, but I can't wait to see his reaction, so I might give it to him early! The sturdy PVC material ensures his artwork will last. It’s a great value and an awesome gift!

Great gift! She was excited to get a better look at soon as possible, and was very impressed by the design! Haven't checked in about the paint quality yet, but hopeful!
