Marco's book is excellent! His unique view of how the AK-47 was developed and deployed is fact based as he was indeed a Soviet Spenantz veteran. This book should be part of your collection, it contains history, technical details and many other useful details on the most ubiquitous military rifle ever produced.The drawings and photos are excellent, the price is quite reasonable and the text is well laid out and will hold your attention.

A very well up-to-date AK-47/74 resource. I found it modern, insightful and blessed with actual experience from Marco Vorobiev - a man who has lived the experience as a Spetsnaz operator.Marco V is well known weapon enthusiast and while an expert of AKs, his reviews are fair and balanced. My choices in making a purchase of an AK model by carefully reviewing the information.

Written by a former Russian Special Forces Operator who has real world experience with the AK. Covers a myriad of topics concerning the rifle. Interesting read,and I learned a few things. Smaller sized book-not 8.5x11- my only con.

Lots of good info and photos. Also lots of grammar mistakes and typos. Who was the editor.

The book was fine, nothing particularly wrong with it, but it tends to focus more on marketing different accessories rather than really getting into depth about the design itself.

This books has so much history, insights, variants, practical tactics, accessories, and trivia that I was immersed and thinking in Russian by the end.What a treasure trove of AK goodness.

I'll be using this as a benchmark for purchasing my next AK. Milled will be my next choice in the near future.
