This light is exactly like the 450 replacement bulb that looks identical to it. The install is easy as could be it’s simple my remove the light ring. Pull the bulb out unplug it and plug the new one back in. It looks good I will put up pictures when it gets dark out.

I ordered this for my Vstar 1100 Custom. It plugs in and works (it’s daytime so I can’t comment on brightness but it seems bright). High and low beam work without mods. The problematic issue for the Custom owners (vs Classic model) is the headlight housing. It takes major modifications to mount a new light in the stock configuration housing. I ordered this light anyway because I figured I would refute everything I’ve read online and make it work. So far I see no straight forward way to fasten this bulb unit but it does fit in the housing. Now I’m on the hunt for an aftermarket housing that will mount to my bike but as far as I know there is not one that bolts right up. So I’ll come up with something. It’s just good to know this light fits in the housing depth and pugs in and functions without modifications. Now to figure out how to actually secure it in place. I’ll update once I figure it out because this is an issue many have faced and there isn’t a modification that I approve of so far.

Some fogging after the first ride, but hasn't happened since. The low and high beams are both VERY intense, so you will be seen on the road!!! Install was quick and easy, and only took five minutes.

It’s a very bright light looks good on my bike had a hell of a time getting it in though not much room in stock housing
