3 Seeds: Reap Where You Sow

I’m a gardener so I love the game theme. It’s an easy yet fun game to play with my family.

Bought this game for Son and daughter in law for Christmas. I got to play it with them while they were home and it was fun. The game has a lot going on but moves along pretty quickly. Good family game that is interactive and interesting. Worth the investment.

3 Seeds is a wonderful unpack-and-go style of card game where you can learn the basic game in 5 minutes or less. It is designed for ages 12 and up, but if your 9-11 year olds have been playing card games for a while you should be able to include them as well. I would rank the difficulty of strategy required about half-way between Old Maid and Euchre. I know that is a broad range, but I really see the appeal of this quick game (about 30-35 minutes) for a wide range of ages and skill levels.3 Seeds is fairly easy to learn how to play, but it will take a few times through for most younger players to learn the strategies necessary to win the game. Even if you're not the winner, everyone can have fun playing.The basic premise is this: we all have 3 types of seed we can sow: time, money, and labor. Players can choose to sow their seeds on their own crops, or on the crops of other players.

Overall I really enjoy this game. It has the perfect amount of random chance to make the game different every time you play but not so much that you could get completely cheated out of a win. I really enjoyed the lightheartedness from the alterations for the names of the crops to the random and funny flavor text. I find the game very balanced that you have to choose whether or not to play seeds on your own crops and ignore everyone else or play on the other players crops to get event cards. I really like the artwork, it provides a very unique art style that sets this game apart.

Love this game - we were able to learn how to play in 10 minutes and all of our friends have picked it up quickly. It is definitely addicting, but that is ok since most games last around 30 minutes. It is a fun, causal game - you can pick it up and play right away and pick up on strategy as you go along.

I had alot of fun playing this game, it has alot of interaction with the other players and it seems very refined and thought out. Both serious stragetic players and fun and casual players can both enjoy this game and play together! Ithas so many possibilities and replay value, I highly recommend it! Great game!
