The light is bright enough to see very fine detail. I am amazed at the color of my materials under this light. The color always changed with regular lighting in the evening so I wasn't able to work after dark.

This was the perfect light for my craft area. I don't have much room on my desk, so this clips on a corner and provides the perfect amount of additional light for my crafting.

The color quality and brightness are wonderful. The neck is very adjustable. The clip part is a little clanky, so if you were thinking of clamping to thinner items like a clipboard or drawing board, it takes a little finagling to get it stable, but it wasn't problematic on thicker bases. Overall, a nice budget alternative to the bigger OTT lights.
