Great value for a hard to find item
Not super solid nor extremely well-made, but if you just need to have a lock for a basement window that you use occasionally this is a really good deal.

Great quality product, that should last!
This is a solidly built product. Very good, substantial metal construction, so it is designed to last. I bought this to replace a plastic version that came with the casement window and the latch had deteriorated with age to the point where the handle just finally snapped off. I swapped out the old plastic latch handle and installed this new metal version in less than 5 minutes.
