Has this issue been resolved?** A: Its not an issue on the knife's part, its an issue on the user. Those people were abusing and not taking care of their blades, that is the problem. The blade is very thin and if misused can be damaged, the band around the knife blade is steel and if you let water get in there and dont clean it it can rust.
