Excellent Wood For Smoking
I recently purchased Weber Apple Wood Chunks for smoking meats and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with the results. The wood chunks are the perfect size for use in my smoker, and they burn cleanly and evenly, giving my meats a deliciously sweet and fruity flavor. One of the things I appreciate most about these wood chunks is their high-quality. They are made from 100% natural apple wood, without any additives or chemicals. This gives me peace of mind knowing that I am smoking my meats with a safe and healthy product. The flavor that the Weber Apple Wood Chunks add to my meats is truly amazing. Whether I am smoking pork, chicken, or beef, the sweet and subtle apple flavor adds a unique and delicious twist to my dishes. The chunks also last a long time, so I don't have to worry about constantly adding more wood to my smoker.Overall, I highly recommend Weber Apple Wood Chunks to anyone who enjoys smoking meats. They are a high-quality product that delivers excellent results every time. Five stars!

Reliable Smoking Wood
I've been using Weber Wood Chunks pretty much exclusively for a decade. The wood is dry and nicely sized for use in our Kamado Joe 18" grill. I use these apple wood chunks when cooking pork ribs. With the dome temp at 225F, this gives off a very clean barely noticeable smoke but puts a nice flavor to the meat but not over powering. Highly recommend.

Adds flavor for sure
Hew yeah, it really works. Sure I have had smoked meats before but this is the first time I was the one doing the smoking. So my first cook was a full Turkey which I smoked all day long and used 6 pieces of wood from my bag of Weber Pecan Wood Chunks, for Grilling and Smoking. Turns out that was too many for our liking. 6 pieces really puts a hearty flavor on that is definitely Pecan. So I tried again ........One brisket, a chuck roast, 3 ribs, and 3 sausage later the results from my second cook were spectacular. I smoked a chuck all day and used 3 pieces from my bag of Weber Pecan Wood Chunks, for Grilling and Smoking which yielded a low and mild Pecan flavor. Next time I do an all day cook I will probably use 4 pieces for a slightly increased amount of Pecan flavor. In both cases I soak the wood chucks in water before using them. I try to keep timing in mind and I add the wood at different intervals throughout the cook, usually from about 1/2 way done to 3/4 - finish. It is okay and recommended to use the wood soaked pecan water in the smokers bath if it is going to be used.

Good for Smoking
It's wood. It makes pork taste good. Enough said.

First time smoking a success.
I built a small wooden smoker with my dad and wanted to try some good wood chunks. We have a bunch of branches lying around that we collected that I believe are oak butI wanted to try some different wood for flavors. I used these to cold smoked some chicken and ribs really quick for about 5 hours and then tossed em on a grill at high heat to finish them off and get that good grill flavor and sear. Came out great!I say you get a good amount for the price. I use this and their pecan wood chunks. I bought some apple wood to try out next time. Not a whole lot of bark on most of the chunks and the size of the chunks are pretty hit or miss at times. I’ve gone through about 3 bags of their pecan and cherry wood chunks and some bags will have about 50/50 of large and smaller wood chunks with the smallest settling towards the bottom more resembling wood chips. But there are usually very few of those size. Most of the chunks are good sized chunks and some bags are mostly filled with those good sized ones in there. I’m not that experienced so take my advice as you will. I just like grilling and want to learn how to cold smoke to add flavor. I’ve been loving it so far and I can’t see myself having a reason to step away from these. It works for me so I’ll stick with them.

Good Quality Cherry Wood for Smoking, large chunks, similarly priced to local retailers
I have used about 3/4 of this bag of cherry wood chunks to smoke meats on my Weber kettle, and thus far I am very satisfied with the results and with the cherry wood flavor that these have imparted. I have used these when smoking beef ribs (plate ribs or dino ribs), pork belly, burger patties and sausages, and chicken thighs most recently. The bag includes a mix of smaller chunks and larger chunks, but don't worry, there are plenty of larger chunks. I have noticed no issues with the quality or dryness of the wood. It burns or smokes well. The price was also in the same ballpark as prices at local retailers, and if that continues to remain the case, I will continue to order Weber wood chunks here online to save the time and gas spent on a trip to the store.(Oh, and one of the features to be rated is "Giftable". I gave that 1 star, as I don't think this is a great gift to give, even to someone who smokes meats regularly. Any grilling or smoking fanatics probably have plenty of wood to use when smoking or grilling, so instead I'd suggest gifting them a grilling accessory.)

Hot smoke with flavor
Perfect for hot smoking salmon. Gave my fish a great flavor. Perfect in my smoked salmon dip. The burn rate was pretty slow, I did not have to remove and replace any during the smoke time. Chips smoldered about the same rate as the fish took to smoke.

Great product
I was in a pinch and needed some pecan to smoke a pork shoulder and ribs and accidentally bought a bag and man did it work great. Smell, quality, burn time were among my highest concerns and they hit all the marks. will use again
